Winter pool training at UKSA in Cowes, starting in October. Marlins our surf lifesaving club will be training there over winter, we have space for more kids aged 8yrs upwards (need to be a good swimmer). Sessions will be

For those adults who are keen we are running an adults only session on Thursdays 1830-1930

These sessions are based around a circuit training style programme. Building on strength, general fitness, speed with an emphasis on fun! Using equipment like battle ropes, slam balls, TRX, weights to walk on the bottom of the pool, darkened goggles to name a few. Typically 10 stations in and out of the pool.

We used to do this pre that C word and it was alot of fun.

The surf is not looking great at the moment....so why not try coasteering from Freshwater Bay instead. You need to be 12yrs upwards to participate but it is great fun...using the natural playground to have fun and explore the caves with a bit of clambering over rocks and swimming. Does anyone need/want to do their RLSS Beach Lifeguard course as I have someone keen to do it but we need 6 to run a course. Looking at end of May/June time ideally...on the Island. Msg me if your keen!

We have a new website | iSurf So after many years we have finally updated our website to make navigating and booking a lot simpler. Hopefully, you will find what you need a lot easier. Given the situation we were in last summer and how busy the Island was we are hoping…

We have wave project courses starting this weekend in sandown. Sessions are 10-12 and 1-3pm both days...courses run for 6 wks and we need volunteers..if you can spare some time tomorrow, whether you surf or not...we just need lovely happy people to welcome these young people onto the course.
