🏉 U13s head to North Dorset 🏉

Our U13s headed to North Dorset to take part in the North Dorset RFC U13’s festival. An early two hour drive was a bit different to the usual Sunday, but what a cracking day it was!

We came up against brand new competition in Sherborne, Dorchester, Taunton, Oakmeadians, and Oxted School. All fantastic respectful teams to play against.

We won some, drew some and lost some, but the boys continue to show how much they’ve developed, scoring some fantastic tries, putting in some brilliant tackles, and defending hard against some big strong teams when needed.

Lots of hard work from everyone, meant we were able to score some fantastic through the five games. Tries went to Alfie x 2, Jude x 2, Logan x 2, Austin, William, Theo S, and Vinnie, only possible through hard work from players such as Owen, Luke, Isaac, Logan St, Presley and many more.

Exhausted bodies hit the road for the two hour journey back home, but coaches were super proud of the boys, and grateful to the parents who made the long trip.

It continues to be a very exciting season for this team. Thanks to North Dorset RFC for a brilliant festival.

Just a weekend at our club!

As pre-season cames to an end last weekend, we thought we’d share a little snapshot of what a weekend around the club can look like with different teams, age groups, and so many people all playing their part.

Now the focus turns to the seasons ahead, with every section of the club looking forward to what’s to come.

More than anything though, weekends like this remind us just how lucky we are to have the people we do.

Players, coaches, volunteers, parents, supporters and all those who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to make our club what it is.

There’s a lot to look forward to and we’re pretty proud of the people we get to share it with.
