Meet our 100,000th visitor of the season! 🎉

This weekend, 11 year old Sophia became Tinside Lido’s 100,000th visitor of 2026!

To mark the milestone, we surprised Sophia with a 2027 Tinside season pass for her and a family member, so there are plenty more days by the pool to look forward to next summer 🌞

Welcoming 100,000 visits in a single season is a fantastic milestone for Tinside, and every one of those visits represents someone swimming, relaxing, trying something new or simply enjoying one of Plymouth’s most iconic places.

Congratulations, Sophia! We’ll see you poolside in 2027 💙

Well, that was a lot of wet dogs in one place! 🐶🌊

Today’s Doggy Swim brought plenty of splashing, swimming, shaking and chaos, with the sun even making an appearance along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us round off the season with such a fun day at the Lido. We loved seeing so many dogs making the most of the pool, and we hope you all had just as much fun as we did! 💙

Will you be Tinside Lido’s 100,000th visitor? 🌊✨

What an incredible season it’s been at Tinside Lido! Since the May Bank Holiday, we’ve welcomed more than 99,000 visitors through our gates. From swimmers and wedding guests to disco dancers, rave-goers, early morning dippers and late-night enthusiasts, Tinside has been at the heart of an unforgettable summer.

All of this has taken place across a record-breaking 89 days of sunshine and warm weather, creating an unforgettable season on Plymouth’s waterfront.

And this weekend we’re expecting to hit a very special milestone.

Someone visiting us this Sunday could officially become our 100,000th visitor of 2026 and receive a FREE season pass for Tinside Lido in 2027!

With our final weekend of the season here, there couldn’t be a better reason to come down for one last swim.

Whether they love swimming, paddling with their friends or simply soaking up the seaside atmosphere, Doggy Swim is the perfect day out for dogs and their owners.

There will also be:
🐶 Dog treats & pup cups
📸 A photographer capturing the fun
🏨 A competition to win a FREE two night, dog-friendly stay at any Moxy hotel in the UK!

This is your reminder that Tinside Lido is OPEN for our final week of the season! 🌊☀️

With a warm week ahead, there’s still time to squeeze in one last swim by the sea.

We’re open 3–6pm Monday–Friday, with additional morning swims on Friday and Sunday.

Whether you fancy a quick dip, a few lengths, or simply making the most of these last days of summer, come and join us before we close for the season.
