🐴✨ PONY PART LOANS AVAILABLE! ✨🐴

As we head into the winter months, our ponies are starting to quieten down a little with their riding hours, so we’re excited to be offering the following ponies for part loan, staying at our yard. ❤️

🐎 WHAT DOES A PART LOAN INCLUDE?

On your set day, you’ll have the choice to:

🐴 Hack for up to 1 hour OR 🏇 School for 45 minutes
🎪 Attend riding clinics exclusively for our loaners
🏕️ Join us for camps
🏆 Take part in local shows
🌳 Come along on fun rides
❤️ And most importantly, have the time to love and care for your pony like your own!

You will have set days, but there is no obligation to come if you’re busy, on holiday, or have other commitments.

👨‍👩‍👧 FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12

A responsible parent must be on site at all times.

Both the rider and parent must be confident with all aspects of the pony’s care, including tacking up, grooming, rugging and general day-to-day care.

We have different ways of loaning available, so if you’d like any more information, please just ask! 💌

🐴 MEET OUR PONIES 🐴

🍪 OREO

Best suited to: An older child who is confident off the lead rein.

Oreo is fun, quirky and definitely likes to take life in the faster lane! 😜 He absolutely loves hacking and jumping, although he can be a little cheeky when schooling alone!

⚖️ Maximum weight: 7 stone

🌸 MISTY

Best suited to: A child who wants to learn the ropes.

Misty is a true schoolmistress who has been there and done it! She takes life at a slower pace and would be a lovely pony for a child who wants to enjoy riding either on or off the lead rein.

⚖️ Maximum weight: 5.5 stone

💙 TYSON

Best suited to: A child who wants to learn the ropes.

Tyson is a lovely schoolmaster who will teach anyone to ride! He can be ridden on or off the lead rein. He generally prefers life in the slower lane, but will happily step up a gear when asked! 😉

⚖️ Maximum weight: 6 stone

🩵 PERCY

Best suited to: A child looking for a cheeky best pal!

Percy is fabulous in all aspects, but he can occasionally ask the odd question when he’s feeling cheeky! 😜 He absolutely adores going off the lead rein, making him a great step-up pony for a child who is ready to gain more independence and confidence.

⚖️ Maximum weight: 5.5 stone

❤️ We’re looking for the right match between pony and rider, so suitability will always come first.

Reminder!!
You cannot just message on the day to say you will be attending. Everything must be booked in advance, we plan ahead for our horses and ponies. Payment MUST be paid in full upon booking. From now on we will be turning away anyone that just shows up. Thanks ☺️

💔 Today has been one of the hardest days for our little riding school. 💔

Owning horses really, really sucks sometimes. The love, laughter and memories they give us are priceless, but unfortunately, the heartbreak is also part of the reality we face.

Our darling boy Sambo came to us just a few short weeks ago. After spending some time isolating, settling in and absolutely scoffing his face, he joined us at the yard and quickly became one of the most loved horses here. ❤️

From the moment he arrived, we did everything we could for him. He had his medical checks and investigations, and when further issues started to become apparent, we were prepared to give him all the time, patience, treatment and care he needed.

Sadly, yesterday Sambo became extremely unwell and was rushed to Western Counties Equine Hospital. The amazing team of vets worked tirelessly throughout the night to try and help our boy.

This afternoon, we received the heartbreaking news that his body physically couldn’t continue, and the decision was made to let him go. 💔

We are absolutely devastated.

In such a short space of time, Sambo brought so much love and joy into our lives. He was a silly, friendly, affectionate boy who managed to make a huge place in our hearts in such a short amount of time.

Today is a reminder of the reality of owning horses — especially when running a riding school. We can’t always hide the bad days behind a smile, and today is one of those days where we need a little time, privacy and love before we can put our brave faces back on for our wonderful customers. ❤️

Alongside the heartbreak, we are also now facing a very large veterinary bill. As a small, family-run business, this is a huge financial blow, particularly after doing everything we possibly could to help Sambo.

So, if you were thinking about booking a lesson, buying a block, booking a party, arranging a hack or simply coming along to support our business, we would be incredibly grateful for your custom. ❤️

Every booking really does make a difference and will help us cover Sambo’s veterinary costs and continue to care for all of the horses we love so much.

We don’t want this to take away from Sambo’s life, because he was so much more than a vet bill. He was a beautiful boy who deserved every chance we could give him, and we would make the same decision to fight for him every single time.

Sambo, you were truly worth the heartbreak. ❤️

We hope you’re running pain-free now, darling boy. 🌈

Looking for a fun, active and educational day out for your home-educated child?
Join us for our Horse Riding Home Education Session
- a hands-on experience designed to build confidence, responsibility and riding skills in a supportive, friendly environment.
🐴Time: Thursdays 10:00am - 2:00pm
🐴Cost: £30 per person
During the session, children will:
- Learn to ride (tailored to ability)
- Groom and care for the horses
- Discover stable management skills

☀️ Well, that’s a wrap for summer! ☀️

It’s certainly been a hot one, but what a summer it’s been! 🥰

We are so incredibly grateful to every single person we’ve had the pleasure of meeting, welcoming and riding with over the past few months. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us — time really does fly when you’re having fun! 🐴💕

A huge shoutout also goes to all of our wonderful volunteers, and especially our amazing staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Without you, this yard simply wouldn’t run, and we appreciate everything you do more than you know! ❤️

But, of course, the most appreciated members of the yard have to be our wonderful horses. 🐴 They work their socks off to please us and give their very best every single day, and they truly deserve all the love and fuss they get.

They’re now enjoying a very well-deserved week off — scoffing their faces, rolling in the mud and playing with their friends in the field! 😂🌱💕

Thank you for making this summer so special. We can’t wait to see what the next season brings! 🍂🐎

Tuesday- Pony care morning,
9:30am-12:30pm / £35pp.
Learn the basics of tacking up, all round care and enjoy a 1/4 + 1/4 lesson and hack! A great introduction to horse riding suitable to anyone.

Wednesday-
1/2 hour hack, 10:30am. £25pp.
Extended tots, 12:30pm-2pm/£35pp
A longer lesson followed by a longer hack, grooming and a bit of animal care.

Thursday-
Beginner hack, 10am-11am £40pp.
Enjoy a scenic, slower paced hack around the coastal village and bridle ways. Great for any abilities!
