Last night, the team swapped a training night on ice for a night of BINGO! 🎉😃

Sadly, there were no wins this time around… but there were plenty of laughs and fun had by all! 🥰🥌

What a fantastic training session for 🥌❄️

We started the session with a fantastic curling masterclass, off our coach .hills1975 , picking up some great tips, learning new skills and building our knowledge of the game.

Then it was time to put that knowledge into practice on the ice! 💪🥌 We took to the ice and put their skills to the test with a fun and competitive game of Climb the Ladder - it’s a knockout team special.’

It was a brilliant session filled with learning, practice, teamwork and plenty of curling! 🙌🥌

Throwback to last Tuesday night’s training session! 🥌

Our newest members worked hard on their drills before finishing with a friendly game, giving them the chance to put everything they’d learned into practice. Great effort from everyone! 👍

Unfortunately, we lost our final league game of the season 3–7, which wasn’t the result we was hoping for. The result means we finished 4th overall, in the league.

Even though this isn’t where we wanted to end in the league, we’re incredibly proud of the way we played together as a team throughout the competition. 👍

Time to take a step back from competing for a little bit, get back into our Tuesday evening training sessions (Tuesday night 7:30pm till 9:30pm ) and we’ll be ready to take on the next league soon! 👊🥌

2 losses and 2 wins has resulted in ‘Team Simmons’ coming 4th overall in the Mixed Doubles competition 🥳

This is the team’s first time experiencing a doubles match, so everyone is more than happy with the result!

A days rest then we will be ready to compete with the full team in Monday nights league 👍🥌
