It was a short trip over to St. Annes this weekend for our U8 Jaguars, as they were hosted by the fantastuc St, Annes Gunners.

It was a hard fought game full of tackles and endeavour, with each of the Freck boys playing awesomely yet again.

There were goals for Oliver, Louie, and Edward.

The parents gave their Player of the Match award to Louie, who got himself on the scoresheet, battled hard, and showed off his ball carrying skills.

The coaches Player of the Match trophy went to Edward, while also got himself amongst the goals, as well as being his usual determined self, driving forwards with the ball and hassling the opposition throughout.

Each and every one of the boys are smashing it week on week at the moment, making all the parents, supporters, and coaches unbelievably proud.

Well done all.

A superb defensive display. Strong, brave and composed throughout, and he capped off a brilliant performance with an assist AND a cracking weak-foot finish from the edge of the box! 🔥

⚽️ TYPHOONS MATCH REPORT ⚽️

On Saturday, the Typhoons took on familiar opponents FCS Ronaldinhos. Having played out several super-close games in the past, we knew this one had all the makings of another classic…

And it certainly didn’t disappoint! 👏⚽️

Both teams played some brilliant football, worked incredibly hard and made it a fantastic game to watch from start to finish.

There were chances at both ends, with both goalkeepers kept very busy and producing some brilliant saves. A huge well done to both teams for a great game played in the right spirit! 👏

⚽️ Goals: Luca & Jaxon

🏆 Parents’ Player of the Match – Jaxon
Fantastic work ethic throughout, some really slick play and topped it off with a brilliant finish. Well done, Jaxon! 👏

🏆 Coaches’ Player of the Match – Wilfred
Absolutely bossed the defence, helped start multiple attacks from the back and put in a superb performance — made even more impressive after recovering from an illness that’s kept him out for the last 10 days. Brilliant, Wilfred! 💪

Another performance for the Typhoons to be proud of! ❤️🖤⚽️

⛳️⚽️ U10 Football Golf! ⚽️⛳️

What a brilliant afternoon our U10s had at football golf today! 🙌🏻

The sun was shining, the footballs were flying and there was plenty of fun, laughter and a little bit of friendly competition along the way! 😄

It was great to see the players (and a few siblings and grown-ups!) getting involved and enjoying something a little different from their usual football.

A huge well done to all the kids for getting stuck in and showing some great skills — and thank you to all the parents and children who came along and made it such a great afternoon! ❤️🖤

We definitely think football golf needs to become a regular thing! ⛳️⚽️

Our U8 Jaguars had the pleasure of welcoming the fantastic Clifton Rangers Stingers to Bush Lane this weekend, for what was a high energy, action packed game.

Both teams gave everything for the whole match with smiles on their faces, and it was an enjoyable match for all involved.

There were goals for Oliver and Arlo, and awesome performances by all 9 of the boys.

Parents Player of the Match went to Oliver, who was always a threat going forward, put in some good defensive work, and got on the scoresheet.

The coaches Player of the Match award went to Blake for setting an awesome example for his team mates, he never stopped running, won loads of tackles, and never gave his opponents any space.

Well done everyone.
