It was an away trip this weekend for our U8 Jaguars, as they were hosted by the awesome Thornton-Cleveleys Tigers.

It was an amazing, end to end game, with loads of chances, saves, tackles, and goals for both sides. Both teams competed like it was a cup final, but showed great sportsmanship throughout, making it a fantastic game to watch.

There were goals for Edward, Arlo, and Louie.

The Parents Player of the Match was Arlo, not only did he score, but he set up a goal, won lots of tackles, and showed off some amazing skills.

Coaches Player of the Match could only have gone to Edward, he was almost unstoppable, grabbing himself a goal, battling to win back possession, and driving the team forward with some powerful runs.

A great day for both teams, well done everyone.

The U8 Jaguars were at home again this weekend, as they welcomed the fantastic Poulton Town Pumas to Bush Lane.

It was always going to be tough for the Jags, playing against a team from the league above, and missing a few players, but they were awesome, competing throughout and threatening the opposition goal with regularity.

There were goals for Arlo and Louie, with Louie scoring one of the fastest goals ever.

Coaches Player of the Match was an easy choice, going to Raf, who was amazing in defence, making tackle after tackle, driving the team forward with the ball.

Parents Player of the Match was Louie, who, as well as getting on the scoresheet, battled all game, and showed off some amazing touches.

To compete so well against such a good side shows how far the boys have come along recently, and there is still so much more to come.

It was a scorcher this weekend for our U8 Jaguars, as they welcomed our near neighbours Warton FC down to Bush Lane.

It was a great match, and considering the temperature, both teams put in an amazing amount of effort, with every ball campeted for.

There were awesome performances all over the pitch, with goals coming from Oliver, Arlo, Louie, Enzo, and a cracking penalty from Rafa.

Player of the Match was awarded to Enzo, who ran his socks off, and never stopped fighting gor the ball all game.

First outing for the Typhoons in their new kit! ❤️⚽️

Saturday saw our terrific Typhoons take to the pitch for the first time in their fantastic new kit, kindly sponsored by the very generous Flower Accounting.

The boys had a brilliant day, played some great football, and gave us—and our new sponsor—a day to remember!

This weekend saw our U8 Jaguars travel over to Common Edge to play the fantastic CN Sports Wolves.

Both teams had to brave the high winds, but still played some great football, and battled for everything.

There were goals for Oliver, Arlo, and Louie.

Parents Player of the Match was Theo, who had an awesome match in goal, he was calm and assured throughout, and made a couple of superb saves.

The coaches Player of the Match trophy was awarded to Noah, always involved, working hard, and getting better on the ball as the game went on.
