🐉💛💚 What a fantastic weekend of racing at the British Dragon Boat Racing Association National Championships in Nottingham! 💛💚🐉
From the first paddle to the final race, Preston Dragons gave it everything, showing determination, teamwork, grit and plenty of fighting spirit. 💪🔥
We didn't come away with any trophies but we did paddle hard, gave it everything and finished the final race of the weekend on a high with a mighty win in a tail final! 🥇
We raced against some of the best teams in the country and never gave up the fight! It was great to see everybody and well done to all the other teams competing this weekend - there is certainly a lot of impressive power out there! 💪🏆
We are especially proud of our 2K race, knocking seconds of our previous year's times and feeling strong and powerful throughout.
A huge thank you to everyone who raced, supported, coached, helmed, organised and cheered us on. 💚💛
Now for a well-earned rest today… before training starts again tomorrow! 😉😂
