So that sees the end of the 8 week challenge with @steveinitiatechallenge and @initiate_sandc. I am now officially over 18lbs lighter than I was when I started, 2 dress sizes smaller, and a huge amount healthier! So pleased with myself, and just because the challenge is done, doesn't mean the good habits I've developed and maintained will be going anywhere!

Iโ€™m sure you have all seen the news by now so unfortunately we will have to close from today!! ๐Ÿคฌ

I understand how frustrating this is for you as it is for us as well especially as there is no clear end date for us to re-open.

If you would like me to freeze your memberships as we did on the firebreak either comment or send me a message and Iโ€™ll do that from tomorrow.

I will organise a time and date for anyone wanting equipment to collect after Christmas.

Hopefully this wonโ€™t be for too long so until then merry Christmas and stay safe.

Occasionally we workout at the gym but more often than not we have to put up with stuff like this! ๐Ÿ˜‚ how many of you go to the gym and can get away with doing things like this...Iโ€™ll wait. I must say though that both @hannahleevans and @ryandowen had both signed a waiver and a risk assessment was made before attempting...this.

We have arranged with the ๐๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐‚๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ to fundraise collectively as a gym throughout the month of November. โฃโฃโฃ

Every 10 minutes another child, teenager or adult somewhere in the world is diagnosed with primary bone cancer.โฃโฃโฃ
โฃโฃโฃ
The goal is for everyone to individually complete 2000 burpees within the month. Burpees can be spread out over the course of the month e.g. ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ• ๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐๐š๐ฒ or completed all in one day as coaches Steven Davies & Jolee Gregory will be doing at the end of November (along with anyone else that wants to join them). Completing the 2000 burpees in one day will format as 11 burpees every minute for 3 hours and 2 minutes. Other variations could be a gradual build up to 2000, starting with 30 on day 1, 40 on day 2, 50 on day 3 etc. โฃโฃโฃ

Anyone can get involved (members & non-members). โฃโฃโฃ

Burpees can be completed at home or at the gym. If you complete the burpees as part of your normal workout you can include them in your individual 2000 total. โฃโฃโฃ

We will be charging a ยฃ10 entry fee to begin the initial funds which will be donated to the charity, and would then ask everyone to spread the word in hopes of donations. Donations can be made via our JustGiving page.
