It was great to be part of this Outdoor Green Social Prescribing Network meeting today, in the beautiful Calon Taf.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and also to meet new people, and organisations utilising our green spaces for health and wellbeing interventions 💚

Looking for a cool, friendly place to spend a few hours away from the heat? We've got two fantastic indoor activities taking place at Pentre Legion this Wednesday, and everyone is welcome!

🧵 Eco-Creative Sewing Group | 10:30am–12:00pm
Get creative while giving unwanted fabrics a new lease of life. Continuing with creating an upcycled cushion cover, where you'll learn simple sewing and embroidery techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. No experience needed, all materials provided, and there's always a warm welcome waiting.

🎯 Women's Social Darts Night | 5:00pm–7:00pm
Fancy trying something new? Come along for an evening of laughter, friendship, and darts. Whether you've never thrown a dart before or you're a seasoned player, this friendly group is all about building confidence, meeting new people, and having fun together.

💚 Both activities are free, welcoming, and a great way to connect with others while staying cool indoors.

The weather warnings are in place for a reason, so we’re taking heed of them 🫡

The Wednesday Wanderers are still meeting up for a cuppa at The Pottery in Llantrisant at 10am, for anyone who still wants to be social 😊

We’re heading back to GarthGlamping this summer for another Women in the Wild (but hoping for more ☀️ and less 🌧️ than last time!) on Friday July 17th.

We’ve worked hard to make this an opportunity NOT to be missed, and we’ve tried to make it as affordable & accessible as we can. We can only do this because of the fantastic women we work with.

A retreat combining nature, connection, movement, relaxation and empowerment.

Created by The Good Stuff in collaboration with RCT Pride and Spectacle Theatre, and supporting the Save The Pop Factory campaign, this unique event brings together four art forms in one shared space, showcasing LGBTQ+ stories, creativity and lived experience.

How excited are we to do the second half of Pontypridd Circular?? VERY!!

This walk takes in The Graig and the South of Pontypridd, it’s approximately 10.5 miles with a little elevation, so good fitness and suitable walking gear (as well as plenty of refreshments) are essential. The weather is currently looking fantastic ☀️ so please ensure you bring hats, suncream and even more water.
