A little throwback to 2014… 👀

AMS coach shirts used to be a regular sight at clubs and sports camps. We thought it was time to make a comeback!

After a bit of work behind the scenes, our new coach shirts are here - giving us a smart, professional look and celebrating the amazing team of helpers who make AMS what it is.

A big thank you to our very own Jack at GrafiSign - Vinyl Graphics and Signs for the great work on the printing. A fantastic local company based in Hardwick. 💙

AMS Football clubs are back at Hardwick & Cambourne (both campuses), Monkfield Park and Barton Primary School from Monday for a new school year! ⚽️

Whilst we have new children, new equipment for the new term, some things stay the same. Incredibly this year will be the 19th consecutive year of football club at Hardwick & Cambourne Primary School! ✨

Schools have emailed out our football club forms to parents but it’s not too late if you’d like your child to come along and take part! ⚽️

Our aim has always been to be more than just childcare - we want to create sports camps that children genuinely want to come to - where they can have fun, try new activities, make friends, build confidence and create great memories ✨

What makes our sports camps unique?

It’s without doubt the group of helpers we have. Having worked at Hardwick & other local schools for what seems an eternity, I have had the privilege of teaching these guys when they were at primary school - they came to my football clubs and most of them I’ve known since they were 5! 🤯

From secondary school, the adult coaches have all helped with clubs and sports camps. Adam & Tom for over ten years, Sebie has been with me since year 7 and Jack & Louisa soon after! Matthew, Ryan and James have assisted me at clubs for many years and Maria has gone from volunteer to a brilliant new addition to the team! We have also had wonderful volunteers too who have worked tirelessly and hopefully will be the coaches of the future!

It’s been an honour to work with these guys, I’m so incredibly proud of how they have all grown, the energy, positivity and enthusiasm they bring to each day of the camps. They wouldn’t be the same without you - we make a pretty special team. 🙌

Sebie, Jack, Louisa, Adam, Tom, Matthew, James, Ryan, Maria, Patrick, Ollie, Max and Emily thank you for all your hard work and making so many kids smile this summer. ❤️

Friday football! ⚽️

Our 13th & final sports camp day was a football day filled with sunshine, smiley faces & lots of games! ☀️

We started the morning with everyone in the gym playing a football game called castles, we had penalty shootouts, futsal & football tournaments before lunch before an afternoon where they could choose between for the slip and slide 💦 and a helpers v kids football match (which the helpers won!) 🏆

Here are some photo highlights from today, including all the prize winners. A special mention to Adrian who won the third and final premier league football prize from this week! 📸
