Our latest player profile is one of our youngest squad members Jonny Farrell. Jonny has bought into the Thursday ethos brilliantly and become a much loved regular.

Success in our first game of the season as we ran out 59-21 winners against Vipers Rugby Football Club.

Well done to all the lads who donned the famous shirt. 13 Leicestershire sides were represented and there was a fantastic atmosphere amongst the troops.

Our poster boys this evening are two of our Leadership Team - Steve Harvey and Badger Dan. Both were ever present last season and played a big part in the relaunch of Leicester Thursday.

Tonight’s featured player is Oadby Wyggs stalwart Sam Allardyce. Sam has played across the front row for Thursday and provided the comedy moment of last season when he stole Luke Coltman gym shorts and played in them against the Prison Service.

Our first fixture of the season sees us travel to Vipers Rugby Club on Wednesday 5th August.

We will face off against several familiar faces both on and off the pitch.

There are still a couple of places available in the Leicester Thursday squad, please reach out to us if you would be keen to be involved.

As we all settle down to watch Captain Kane and his band of merry men, a shout out to one of our co-captains - Benjamin Cornwall.

Ben is consistently a top performer for Leicester Thursday and his parent club Leicester Lions 99s; leading from the front with his physicality and high end skill set.
