Dance Unlimited Dance school based in Sheffield offering fun, friendly and professional classes for kids who want to dance as a hobby or on a professional level

Dance Unlimited is one of the leading dance schools in Sheffield. At our school, we aim to create a home away from home and we want every child to be confident, happy and to discover the love and joys of dance. Our highly skilled, friendly teachers ensure to get the best out of each and every student, building confidence and instilling a lifelong passion for dance. At Dance Unlimited we offer a variety of classes for children from infants to age eighteen as well as an adult dance and fitness programme. We have over 130 classes per week and welcome students who want to have fun as well as those with their sights set on a career in the dance and performance industry. It is our aim to build an inclusive environment, where confidence, fun and self esteem is the main focus. Today is National Teachers’ Day 💜

So, we’re taking a little moment to celebrate our amazing teachers who show up, give their all and bring so much passion, energy and encouragement to our dancers every single day. 🥰

Teaching is no easy feat, and we’re SO grateful for everything you do - from the big moments on stage to all the little moments in the studio that make such a difference. 👏

Dance Unlimited Journeys 💜

🌟 Our next featuring student for DU Journeys is our fabulous student, Esme!🌟

Esme’s DU journey began at just 3 years old when she joined our Pre-School Ballet classes, where she loved learning all about feet positions, good toes and, of course, practising her leaps alongside Angelina Ballerina! 🩰

Her first DU show was Movie Magic at Sheffield City Hall, where she looked tiny on the big stage as she danced to How Far I’ll Go. Little did she know that her love of performing would eventually take her as far as Gloucester every January for the Born to Perform competition finals! 👏

Esme hasn’t missed a DU show since and is now a big fan of a six-show weekend! As her love of dance continued to grow, she began exploring more styles, adding Acro and Lyrical to her classes before joining the Mini Team. These classes became a big part of her DU experience, giving her a real sense of belonging and the chance to share her love of dance with the same lovely group of friends each week. 👭

Like many of our dancers, Esme continued dancing throughout lockdown from home via the screen, and we’re so grateful that DU could provide that consistency during such an unusual time. It was also where Esme took part in her very first competition, performing a self-choreographed solo over Zoom! Since then, she has come a long way, travelling with Inter Pros and now Company to competitions in Bury, Solihull, Nottingham, Worcester and Gloucester, as well as having the opportunity to perform in Chance to Dance shows at Alton Towers. 💃

Alongside all of this, Esme has also become a dedicated Student Helper, spending her Saturday mornings helping in classes with our younger dancers. Most recently, she was part of our DanceFest team, helping to guide younger dancers from the wings and making sure they were ready to take to the stage. 🤩

From her very first ballet class at age 3 to performing across the country, competing, helping younger dancers and being part of some amazing DU memories, we’re so proud of how far Esme has come and can’t wait to see where her DU journey takes her next! 💜

🚨 PSA! Angelina Ballerina and Tumble Ted are coming to Dance Unlimited NEXT WEEK! 🩰🐻

Our much-loved duo will be popping by our Mini Twirl and Mini Tumble classes next Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday! 💜

We can’t wait to welcome Angelina and Ted back to DU and see all of our minis’ faces when they arrive! 🥹✨ We’re sure it’s going to be very special! 🩷

🎃 Ready to level up your dance skills with a spooky K-pop twist? 👻 K-Pop Tricks & Treats is a Halloween dance camp packed with high-energy K-pop routines, exciting dance challenges and plenty of tricks to master along the way! 💃🔥 Our dancers will work on their kicks, leaps, turns, tricks and more, with fun activities designed to challenge, develop and celebrate their dance skills. ⭐ Expect spooky beats 👻, tricky combinations 💥, Halloween games 🎃, creative activities ✂️ and, of course, lots of treats along the way! 🍬 Perfect for dancers aged 8–11 who love K-pop and are ready to take their dancing to the next level! 🕺✨
