So many of us hear the phrase “sleep training” and immediately think of disconnection, distress, or leaving a child to cry. But what if supporting sleep could actually be about building more connection?

In this clip from this week’s episode of The Relaxed Mama Club, child sleep specialist Jess Prescott shares why she’s passionate about dispelling some of the myths around toddler sleep support, and why understanding what your child truly needs in the moment matters so much more than rigid rules or one-size-fits-all advice.

Because better sleep isn’t just about getting children to sleep independently.

It’s about confidence. Connection. Feeling calmer at bedtime. And creating an approach that feels right for your family.

I’d love to know your thoughts ⬇️

What’s one thing you’ve changed your mind about when it comes to children’s sleep?

In this week’s episode of The Relaxed Mama Club, I’m joined by child sleep specialist Jess Prescott from .sleep.secrets and we talk about what’s really going on when toddler sleep becomes a battle.

Because often it isn’t just about sleep. It’s about autonomy, connection, boundaries… and our confidence as parents.

If bedtime currently feels more like a power struggle than a wind-down, this conversation might give you a completely different way to think about it.

And I’m curious…

What’s the most creative bedtime delay tactic your toddler has come up with? 👀

Pregnancy yoga isn’t just about stretching and relaxing. When it’s done well, it’s about preparing your body for birth in a way that actually makes sense.

Inside my classes, everything we do has a purpose. We focus on:

• Building strength to support your changing body
• Creating space in the pelvis through position and movement
• Breathing techniques that you can use during pregnancy and birth
• Helping your body find positions that feel instinctive when the time comes

This isn’t about pushing or performing, it’s about understanding your body and working with it. Because when you’ve practised these movements and positions over time, they stop being something you have to think about. They become familiar, automatic, something your body can come back to when you need it most.

And alongside that, there’s still space to slow down, rest, and properly switch off (which, let’s be honest, most mums-to-be aren’t getting enough of).

You don’t need any yoga experience
You don’t need to be flexible
You just need a body that’s growing a baby

If you’ve been thinking about coming but feeling unsure, this is your sign that you’ll be so welcome here ✨

Classes are held every Tuesday evening in Neston Wellness Studio

Send me a message if you’ve got any questions, or book via the link in my bio 🤍

💗 A Love Letter to Every Mama Who's Terrified of Birth 💗

I think most mums-to-be have some nerves about birth, some feel a bit scared or apprehensive... but what about those for whom birth is a deep, consuming fear?

There's actually a name for what some women experience - tokophobia. And so many mamas are carrying it in complete silence, because they're worried about seeming ungrateful, or they think they should just be able to push through it somehow.

I just want you to know something: you are not being dramatic. You are not weak. And you are absolutely not alone in this. Fear like this doesn't just go away on its own. And you shouldn't have to spend your entire pregnancy just surviving the thought of your birth.

This is one of the things I work with most, and it genuinely matters to me. Through hypnotherapy and hypnobirthing, we can gently work through what's underneath that fear, whether it's something that happened to you before, stories you've absorbed over the years, or just your mind catastrophising.

We don't skip over how you're feeling. We sit with it, work through it, and slowly start to replace it with something that feels a lot more like calm and trust in yourself.

You deserve to feel safe going into your birth. That's not too much to ask for 🙏

If any of this resonates, my DMs are always open. No pressure, no judgement, just a quick chat whenever you're ready. 🤍
