A damp day at Whitemere today, but some hardy souls got some valuable practice in with our instructors, as part of our Refresher programme. Meanwhile Pat appeared to be sailing around a lot of masts.....

Congratulations to our group of sailors, who all successfully completed their RYA Level 3 'Better Sailing' course over the weekend. Well Done All!

Our Bank Holiday Open Day proved to be a great success despite light winds, with over 200 visitors attending and many enjoying their first or returning Sailing experience.

Thank you to everyone who came along - we love sharing our passion for Sailing in our peaceful corner of Shropshire.

If you didn’t manage to join on the day, as a special offer, we are waving the joining fee until Monday 18th May for those who registered at the event. So what are you waiting for?!

Ever wanted to try sailing? Now is your chance!

Our friendly Sailing Club will be opening its doors for our free, annual Open Day and we would like to invite you to come and join us on the water for some fun. Our experienced volunteers will be there to show you the ropes. All you need are some clothes you don’t mind getting wet, a towel, change of clothes and a sense of adventure! There event runs from 11am until 4pm on Monday 4th May - no booking or tickets required!
There will be refreshments afterwards for a donation. Members will be available to discuss Membership and the RYA courses we offer and answer any questions you may have.
So what's stopping you? We look forward to seeing you on the day!

Thanks to Steve, Colin, Angus, Bill, Mark, Guy, Kate and Helen who all helped clear our berth markers ready for refurbishment at our Saturday working party. Thank you all for your efforts.

Lovely afternoon June sailing, (in April!), as the wind suddenly changed direction and picked up. Welcome to new member Jo and to some of our regular Wednesday sailors, Sheena and daughter Molly, Mike, Carole, Keith, Huw, Rob and Colin. Also good to see Doug, Dave and Bryn and special thanks to Brian for providing safety duty.
