We are thrilled to share that Bobbie-Jo will be starting her Nursing Degree (Adult) BSc (Hons) at Edge Hill University this month! πŸ₯°

When asked about her course, Bobbie-Jo said: "I chose to study the T Level Health course because it offers a unique blend of high-level academic theory and essential practical experience. Studying the course was an incredibly rewarding experience, primarily due to the balance of classroom learning and hands-on clinical practice. I particularly enjoyed the practical training, including gaining my Level 3 Emergency First Aid qualification, as well as attending competitions. This was an amazing experience as it allowed me to put my knowledge into practice."

It was wonderful to host our annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning this week, with our Inclusive Learning students proudly hosting the event.

The morning was filled with delicious homemade treats, as staff members, including our Catering team, generously baked and donated a variety of cakes and sweet treats in support of the fundraiser. It was fantastic to see students and staff come together to enjoy the event, to raise a brilliant Β£90 for a great cause, and support the incredible work of Macmillan Cancer Support. πŸ’šβ˜•πŸ°

As one of our Adult learners, Alana has gone from strength to strength studying our Access To Higher Education: Nursing course and is now preparing to continue her studies at University πŸ₯°

"I chose the course because I've always dreamed of becoming a Children's Nurse, and it offered a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable UCAS points while progressing towards my career goals. The part I've enjoyed most has been stepping back into the academic world and developing my knowledge alongside like-minded people. It has been a really positive experience, and I've met some great people on the course. The tutors have been amazing, supporting me every step of the way and helping me build my confidence and skills."
