I’m starting to love the challenge of Town Quay. After 50+ cuttlefish, I still haven’t managed to land my first squid from the pier! 🦑

Days of watching people around me catch them has only made me more determined… now I’m even more ambitious to get that first one! 😂🎣

Check out for a great selection of squid jigs. My favourite colour is khaki, but what intrigues me more is… what’s your favourite colour? 👀🦑

I’ve been a bit too quiet recently, so here’s a little tale… 🦑 A couple of people have mentioned that the squid are back in Southampton! 🎣

I’ll be around the pier for a couple of hours, so if anyone’s struggling or wants a bit of advice, please don’t be shy…come over and have a chat 😊

I’m on the last progress of taking the boat for a spin, does anyone have knowledge of connections gear cables to the control unit? I was told to buy the adapter kit for 33c gear cables c2 to c5 but about confused on what I’m doing, anyone willing to help me out?

Id just like to say thank you you to all that has supported us here at shorecast angling supplies !!
After being in the fishing trade for over 40 years behind the scenes making products for the trade. we finally got to see the faces of the people who support the whole thing.and I must say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it , talking to anglers across the country that specialise in different types of fishing about a hobbie we all love.

For a shop that has turned up out of nowhere we are so greatfull for anyone that has ever been here and checked us out.we hope to be the top in the game in time ,getting in what the angler needs.

Parking is an issue here but there is always a space at the front or if it’s a flying visit just stop outside.or pay to park just round the corner.

Looking back over the past year there are a lot of people to thank for there help to get where we are now the list would be to long but you no who you all are 🩵
