💙 **FREE Water Safety Sessions for Children this Summer!** 💙
Could your child know what to do if they unexpectedly fell into deep water?
This summer, we're offering **FREE 1-hour Water Safety Sessions** at Shirley Swimming Pool to help children learn essential lifesaving skills in a fun, safe environment.
🏊 **Session Dates:**
📅 Tuesday 28th July
📅 Friday 31st July
📅 Monday 10th August
📅 Thursday 13th August
⏰ **1:30pm–2:30pm** – Primary school-aged children
⏰ **2:30pm–3:30pm** – Secondary school-aged children
During the session, children will learn:
💦 What to do if they get into difficulty in water
💦 How to stay calm and float
💦 Safe ways to help themselves and others
💦 Why wearing clothes in water feels different
👕 **Please bring:**
• Swimwear
• Towel
• Old clothes or pyjamas to wear over swimwear (that you don't mind getting wet!)
📞 **Places are FREE but must be booked in advance.**
