With the option of entering the RFU league structure, we have decided to enter the Lions into these leagues.

Along with many other Essex clubs doing the same, this has created an extra counties - Essex league.

The Lions have been placed in Counties 2 Essex and will be playing the teams displayed above.

AGM DATE CONFIRMED ‼️

The clubs AGM will be held on 11th June at 7pm in the clubhouse.

There'll be updates on the clubs activities from the past year. If you would like to know more get in touch or come along and get involved.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚜

We are looking for volunteers to help with some maintenance to pitch 1 tomorrow from 9am.

If you have a wheelbarrow, spade or rake please bring them along with you.

Congratulations to the FOUR U17s players who represented Essex against Kent last weekend. Kent came out on top on the day but we are all proud of the way you played.

Congratulations to colts Ben and Harry for making their Essex debuts last weekend in a narrow loss. Well done lads!

Three of our Westcliff warriors played for the Sons of Spartacus sevens Team in the first of the Lit International Super Sevens.

Ellis Hartopp, Luke Everitt and Connor Mahoney played at the first leg of the LIT Sevens Tornament - the Manor 7s held at Eton Manor on the 9th May 2026.

The Spartans beat a Fijian army team, the Sappers by 22-21, to win the Men's Open Cup.

Congratulations to our three players.

On to Oxford Quins for the second leg next week.
