Huge congratulations to Riverside 2015 goalkeeper Fraser MacKay, after recently finalising a well-earned move to St. Johnstone Football Club ⚽️🧤👏

Fraser has been with Riverside since the very start of fun 4’s - he’ll be greatly missed by all the boys and coaches, and will be an asset to his new team.

Well done Fraser - best of luck from everyone at Riverside FC ⚽️🙌💪

Yesterday saw our Maroon and Sky Blue teams completing their final friendlies in preparation for the next block of fixtures.

Over the last few weeks we’ve hosted teams from the Fife, West Lothian, Edinburgh and Central leagues at University of Stirling Sport and the boys have been fantastic throughout 👏. Loads of entertaining football played, and great performances all round ⚽️⚽️⚽️.

With some new faces in both teams it’s
been great to see the boys forming an instant bond, and working hard for one another week in, week out 💪🤩.

Next Saturday sees the return of league fixtures, with the Maroons away to Stirling Albion in a local derby, whilst the Sky Blues are heading to Bishopbriggs to face Rossvale. After a solid pre-season, the boys can’t wait to get started 🙂⚽️.

CONGRATULATIONS to Riverside FC 2015s player Jacob McAra on signing pro youth forms with Heart of Midlothian football club ⚽️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Jacob, a 2016, who has always played with Riverside 2015s has been training in at The Jambos for the past year or so after having been scouted by a number of top clubs whilst playing grassroots football with our Riverside 2015s team.
Jacob, a prolific goalscorer, has been more than just a striker for Riverside. A fast skillfull dribbler on the ball and great passer, Jacob is capable of playing a range of positions on the park, but it’s as a striker he has excelled.
Jacob has a fantastic attitude and along with his individual skill and ability has shown a great a team ethos, getting on with other players, coaches and parents at the club.
A well deserved opportunity for Jacob who has worked tirelessly to achieve this goal.
Everyone at Riverside would like to wish Jacob all the very best and thank him for his time with us here. Also to Jacobs parents Stevie and Liz. We know how much time and effort goes into any sport with children and you’ve done him proud.
Although this is about Jacob. Riverside FC would also like to make a special mention for Stevie. Stevie has coached the 2015s for several years. He has been the administrative backbone of the matchday organisation, festivals, kit collection, SYFA liaison.. the list goes on 🙌🏻⚽️👏🏻

Riverside 2015s are currently recruiting intermediate, high intermediate and advanced players.

As well as open to all positions we are also actively looking to recruit a new Goalkeeper!

RIVERSIDE 2015s - we are actively looking to recruit a high intermediate/ advanced level goalkeeper to join us. Training two nights a week at Stirling University bespoke facilities and access to goalkeeper training.
