Well, I guess it’s time to announce the news!
My best and oldest friend first and foremost and secondly my long standing business partner Alene Telfer has decided to hang up her Saddle Fitting boots. Having battled the M8 motorway and the Edinburgh bypass and the lovely Sherriffhall roundabout for many years, it’s time!
We decided to wait to tell you until all the admin and paperwork was dealt with and the deal was done.

I don’t want the rumour mill to think that I am giving up - I need to support my lifestyle for a few more years 🙈. I will continue to run the business as before and cover my area from South Ayrshire to Orkney and perhaps take on some of Lanarkshire and the west side of Edinburgh but unfortunately I am only one person and can’t take on the rest of Alene’s area.

Alene and I will continue to make our trips to Texas if there’s enough work for us and it will be a good excuse to get together and perhaps drink 🍸 a frozen margarita or two.

I wish her the very best and know she’s going to enjoy travelling a bit and seeing all the stuff she loves to research. It’s going to be weird too I think but no doubt we will be in touch lots.
Love our memories from years on the road with the Show Unit, Texas, Jollies (as we called them) to various saddle fitting courses, trade shows and just general fun.
