🎄 Sharing a local festive event! 🎄

One of our lovely parents asked us to pass this on — the Victorian Street Fayre is happening at Neath Castle on Saturday 29th November, 11am–3pm.

There’ll be gift stalls, live music, and some freebie turkey rolls for the early arrivals and free crepes for people coming later in the afternoon.

If you’re looking for something fun and Christmassy to do with the family, then the Fayre is certainly worth a visit this Saturday! 🎅✨

Today we’re celebrating five years of running football sessions and providing an inclusive environment for our players. It's been amazing to see the Academy develop over this time and watch the community around it continue to grow.

A huge thank you to Pontardawe Town AFC and Celtic Leisure for the support they’ve given us throughout our journey. It’s been invaluable and has helped us keep developing year after year.

We also want to give a big shoutout to all the volunteer coaches, past and present who’ve given their time, energy and enthusiasm to help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment. Thank you for everything you have put into the sessions over the years - we truly could not have kept the academy running without your support.

And of course, thank you to our players and their families for being such an important part of this community. Your commitment, smiles and love of football are what it's all about for us.

⚽ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN PONTARDAWE ⚽

Our friendly football group for children with ASD and other special needs is growing fast — and we’d love a few extra helping hands!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help at our football group for children with ASD and other special needs — every Friday, 5–6pm at Pontardawe Leisure Centre ⚽

This is a brilliant opportunity if you’re studying or interested in:

We’ve been asked to share this fantastic, local event which is supporting the Cancer Centre at Singleton Hospital.

If you fancy a fun night out for a great cause (and free festive snacks) then head to the Charity Bingo Night at Trebanos Rugby Club on the 5th December starting at 6.30pm.

⚽ Join the ASD Football Academy! ⚽

We run weekly football sessions for children and young people with ASD and we are currently welcoming new players to join our group.

Our football sessions are designed for players with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 7 years old and up to enjoy football in a friendly, supportive and structured environment.

Everyone is welcome so if your child is new to football or if they regularly play football then we'd love to have you as part of our group.

📍 Where: The 3G pitch at Pontardawe Leisure Centre

🕓 When: Friday each week between 5pm and 6pm

💷 Cost: £4 per week on a pay as you play basis

👟 What to bring: Sports kit, trainers/boots, water bottle

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been given 20 free tickets for the Wales v Canada game on Tuesday evening at the Swansea stadium.

These tickets are available for players of our team and their families to enjoy a brilliant evening of football together and to see the Welsh team in action.

A huge thank you to FA Wales for this opportunity. Your support means so much for our team.

⚽️ What a fantastic day at the McDonald's football festival day ⚽️

Our team played its first ever games today and it was so great to see them all play so excellently as a team and with a smile on their faces throughout the day. Well done to all of the players - I am so proud of you all.

A big thank you to FA Wales and Swansea City Football Club for putting on such a great event. Also my thanks to my fellow coaches and the teams from Baglan Dragons, Margam Stags, Clarbeston Road and Swansea City Bravehearts for the opportunity to play your great teams at such a great stadium too.

We have been invited to the McDonald’s Football festival this Sunday at the Swansea.com stadium.

The festival takes place between 12.30pm and 2pm and the children will have the opportunity to play football on the Swans pitch with fun football drills and even a match against another ASD football team. There will also be inflatables and other fun things to do there too.
