🚴 From Munich to Bratislava: More Than a Bike Ride 🚴

Over four incredible days, our team recently cycled from Munich to Bratislava, travelling through Kirchdorf am Inn, Linz and St. Pölten. Along the way they faced challenging climbs, tired legs, changing weather and plenty of moments that tested their determination.

At Adventure Café, we believe that growth happens when we step beyond our comfort zones. Every mile ridden and every challenge overcome was an opportunity to build resilience, confidence and connection.

What started as a cycling challenge became a shared adventure, bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

A huge congratulations to every rider who embraced the journey with courage, positivity and an adventurous spirit. You’ve shown what’s possible when people support one another and keep moving forward, one pedal stroke at a time.

Our Bavarian Adventure in May 2026 delivered it all — but don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what one long-time Adventure Cafe rider had to say after joining the trip:

The organisation was first class, with hotels that were excellent and well researched evening meal venues - which really did make the social side even more enjoyable.

The ride was really well ‘Lead’ and Supported - coffee stops, lunch stops and cake stops all planned and arranged perfectly. The support van was always on hand if needed and the sign of a good cycle is when you don’t have to think about what’s next - it’s arranged and you simply ride to it.

The route for the ride was itself also excellent, I calculated we rode 500km over 4 days, of which at least 400km was on cycle paths, and on the roads we were in between summer flower meadows and mountains or riding by rivers - one cannot stop every 200m for a photo, but that could easily have happened.

The group I rode with are a lovely bunch of people, which is always the same with Adventure Cafe rides - typically like minded people who are all sociable and enjoy their cycling.

Before this ‘Adventure’ I had Greece, Norway and Morocco as my top 3 rides with Adventure Cafe, but this Bavarian loop has snuck in there and I am not sure who moves to position number 4, but I’ll break it to them gently.

Immense riding and company, I commend anyone who has or hasn’t cycled in this part of the world to do it or do it again - fabulous place made even more brilliant by the Adventure Cafe team.

Bavarian Adventure successfully completed! 👏 This was a brand new four day route for us & it has totally exceeded our expectations. Miles & miles of perfect tarmac cycle paths, through stunning alpine countryside. The clients have been blown away by this incredible route, which included Munich, Lindau Island, & passing snow capped mountains, crystal blue lakes and the famous Nueschwanstein (Disney inspiration) Castle.
This one is definitely a keeper and suitable for all abilities, with direct and extended route options.

This weekend, 17 incredible cyclists took on the London to Paris 24‑hour challenge — rolling out from London on Friday and powering all the way to the Eiffel Tower with grit, teamwork, and sheer determination.

Every mile was ridden with purpose, raising vital funds for Parkinson's UK, and the whole team should be unbelievably proud of what they’ve achieved.

Here’s to the EE Smith team — what an achievement! 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷✨

This is just the start of an exciting partnership solidified with a triad of human powered activities along the Thames. Love that we have some exciting plans in place already to scale up for you guys in 2027 and thanks all for a memorable day... especially the cocktails at the finish line!
