This weekend saw us have our Kit and Boat Inspection with World’s Toughest Row and Boat Survey with the amazing Paul Ridley. A great chance to chat things through, check we’re on course and as always learn a lot! Seems to be approaching at a rapid speed now so full steam ahead!

It was a real pleasure to speak to those in the group about what we’re planning to do, the training we’ve done so far, share some of the experiences and what we have to come when we take to the big seas in December. They’ve made me promise to come back, and not just because I’m likely their GP! And just like that we’ve reached the 120 hour mark on the water together🙌 A great weekend of training again, starting with a wet, windy and wavy first night, followed by some lovely weather and great times on the oars. What a journey to be on together😊 Less than 6 months till we start so getting VERY real!

After our second outing on some gusty seas it’s starting to really feel like is really happening! Another great experience with more lessons from the waves and thankfully a lot of laughs too! Lucky to be sharing this adventure together and even more grateful for our supporters on land🙌😊🙌

What a weekend for our first “out out” venture!! Lots of miles covered, lots of experience gained, some incredible views of the day and night, all in one piece, even better friends…. Looks like this is really happening!

A trip out today on dry land taking our boat to the North Wales coast for its summer home ready for some big training outings on the high seas 🌊
