Good afternoon everyone, our runs for the coming week are as follows:
⭐ Monday 24th August
✅ 5k road, social pace, meet 6:30pm, Torre Abbey.
✅ 10k trail to Stover, pace to suit the group, meet 7pm, The Drum Inn.
⭐ Wednesday 26th August
✅ 5k road, social pace. Meet 7pm, Babbacombe Model Village Carpark.
✅ 10k road, meeting same as above, 9.5 min/ mile.
⭐ Thursday 27th August
✅ 10k trail, 10.5 min/ mile pace, meet 6:30pm, Church House Inn, Maldon.
⭐ Friday 28th August
✅ 8k sunrise social road run, meet 6am, Young's park bandstand, Goodrington.
New members are welcome to join us for two weeks to try us out. If you would like to come along for a run and meet us, please comment below or send us a message. No pressure!

🏅 Congratulations to our member Brian, who completed the ultra marathon 'Mendip Marauder' at the weekend 🏅
The routes follow the scenic Mendip Way, taking in woodland, open hills, dramatic gorges, limestone landscapes and panoramic viewpoints. With over 4,100ft of climbing on the 30 mile route, runners can expect a demanding, but rewarding day on predominantly off-road trails.

💪🏻 Reflecting back again on how Amazing our run leader and member Alby Walters is 💪🏻
Alby ran a MARATHON EVERY DAY throughout July. That's 31 marathons!! Absolutely incredible!! No matter the conditions or route, Alby put one foot in front of the other and kept running to raise money for our club charities Sound Communities CIC and Animals in Distress - Torbay & Westcountry
Throughout the month of July, Alby managed to raise just shy of £2000! 🤩 We are so proud of Alby and value him as a member of Riviera Racers; he is such an asset to the club and is always up for a challenge. Please join us again in congratulating and thanking Alby for what he has done for the local community 🩷
