Thank you to Torbay Velopark parkrun for another great parkrun UK
Yesterday marked the one millionth parkrun 🤩
We continue to be grateful to all of the volunteers that make sure it happens each week 🙏🏻

Congratulations to the unstoppable force that is Karl Runciman
Karl completed his 6th half marathon this year (this weekend), as well as the Dawlish Coasters Coastal Dash.
Well done Karl, you're an inspiration!!

Unfortunately it was a loss for the red team with the yellows coming out triumphantly. Needless to say, everyone gave it a good shot and played their best game since Year 9 PE.

Good morning everyone, our runs for the coming week are as follows:

⭐ Monday 15th June

✅ 7k trail, social pace. Meet The Olde Smokey Pub, 7pm.
✅ 5k road, social pace. Meet 6:30pm, Torre Abbey (earlier start time!)

⭐ Wednesday 17th June

✅ 5k road run, social pace, meet Corbyn Head, 7pm.
✅ 10k road run, 9.5 mins/mile pace, meet Corbyn Head, 7pm.

⭐ Thursday 18th June

✅ 10k trail, 10.5 min/ mile pace, meet 7pm, Totnes Leisure Centre (note: later meeting time than normal).

This weekend will be the One Millionth parkrun event so do come and join us, we have balloons & stickers and a Photo Frame and everyfin so join us on Saturday morning in the sunshine and celebrate. Our Event Director won't be there unfortunately but wants to send out a massive thank you to our volunteer team and all our participants for being part of this awesome event. 😁🥰

The Great West Run
Well done to our 4 members Karl and Jane (half marathon) and Rachel and Muhammad (10k) who participated in the Great West Run at the weekend. It was a HOT one with scorching conditions!! Well done for getting through it! ☀️🤩
