I always advise complete beginners to have a few lessons before investing in a drum kit and have seen some great innovations for practice without drums including paint pots, American Football helmets and Tupperware containers. What's your best alternative drum kit?

The Backbone Drums HQ is now set up and ready to record more backing tracks as well as the first ever lesson videos. First up will be the Complete Foundation book done as a series of free to stream drum lessons with me. I have been doing Army Cadet training videos online - https://www.youtube.com/ - to back up my Cadet Books for a while now so this should be easy, right?
