DEFEAT AT HOME

Another disappointing night as we suffered defeat in the league.

We started the game well but found ourselves 2-0 down after 30 minutes, leaving ourselves with a mountain to climb.

We need to keep working hard, stick together and turn the tide. There’s plenty of football still to be played, and we’ll keep pushing to get things back on track.

🏁 RACE NIGHT A SUCCESS! 🏁

A massive thank you to everybody who attended our race night yesterday evening!

With over 100 tickets sold, it was fantastic to see the main hall full of people showing their support, not only for Nostell Miners Welfare Football Club but also for our community centre. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Following the success of the evening, we are already looking at organising further social events, so keep your eyes peeled for future announcements!

A huge thank you must also go to all the volunteers who helped make the night possible. There are far too many people to name individually, but every bit of hard work and support is appreciated. Without our volunteers, nights like these simply wouldn’t happen.

We hope everyone who attended had a fantastic evening and that there aren’t too many sore heads today! 😂🍻

Thank you once again for your continued support. Together, we can continue to improve our facilities and build a better future for both the football club and community.

SATURDAY ROUND-UP

Unfortunately, our Reserves bowed out of the County Cup, despite putting in a very pleasing performance.

We created enough good opportunities to take the lead but just couldn’t find the back of the net when it mattered. There are plenty of positives to take from the performance, and the lads can be proud of their efforts.

The only real frustration is the situation with the County FA. When clubs pay good money to enter a County Cup competition, not having an appointed referee for the fixture is simply a mockery of the competition.

THIRDS

The Thirds were on the road in league action, but unfortunately came away feeling the final scoreline was a harsh reflection of the game.

Once again, missed opportunities proved costly. Against a good side, you simply cannot afford to waste the chances you create, as these moments can ultimately decide the outcome of a game.

Plenty to learn from and take forward as we look to bounce back next time out.

As a football club, we’re always striving to find ways to give something back to our local community.

Today, we’re pleased to announce that our InPost locker has now been installed at the club 📦

The locker provides another useful service for our local community, with some great benefits:

✅ Free parking
✅ Away from busy roads
✅ Located within a well-lit, gated area
✅ Convenient and accessible location

We hope this provides a valuable resource for people in our community, whether you’re sending, returning or collecting parcels.

This is another small step in making our facilities useful not just for football, but for the wider community too.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of Nostell Miners Welfare. 💛🖤

A massive shout out and thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this possible.

NIGHT TO FORGET.

A miserable evening at the TJ’s Travel Stadium and definitely one to forget.

Not the performance or result we wanted, dwell on it for a short period, dust ourselves down, pick ourselves back up and go again.
