We’ve been speaking to players who have come through the Shropshire pathway and have gone on to make their mark in the women’s game 🙌

First up, opening bowler Caitlin Belcher who played for the Shropshire Age Group teams and also the Shropshire Women’s XI and is now part of the Gloucestershire Women’s Squad.

WOMENS WORLD CUP TICKET COMPETITION 💗

We’ve been getting into the World Cup Spirit, but we want to know what your Best Cricketing Experience is. So, to enter this competition, we need to hear from you.

This competition is open to all women and girls across the County, and coaches of women and girls’ cricket, so please share it with your network. Your experience could be playing, coaching, volunteering... anything under the sun linked the Women and Girls’ cricket!

Two clubs have already announced plans to host World Cup celebration events :

⭐ will be host a party on the afternoon of the final (5th July) following their ladies home fixture earlier in the day.

⭐️ are planning a semi-final watch party on 2nd July and will be hoping England top their group to secure a place in the match.

U13s Girls Finals ☀️

Huge congratulations to Newport Girls High School for their win and to Bridgnorth Endowed for their runner up spot. 🥇🥈

With the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup just around the corner, the girls enjoyed celebrating in our World Cup photo frame, proudly showing their support for the women’s game!
