⚽️Another busy weekend for our 2026/27 u6s ⚽️

At the FC blacon tournament our two teams both went through their groups unbeaten.

One team won their cup final with an amazing golden goal from Joseph Poyner ⚽️🏆 our other team won 6 on the bounce only to come up short in their own final. A great effort all round from the squad losing 1 match out of 14 showing the strength in depth they’ve built. Individual award went to Nelly Edwards and Jac Cross.

Onto Sunday and they entered a year up in the llay welfare tournament finishing 3rd on their group, losing out in the semi finals but giving every team they played a great battle despite giving away a year in age.

Our U6s proudly made their home tournament debut in their brand-new kits yesterday, and what a day it was! Both teams were incredibly unlucky to bow out in their respective semi-finals after giving absolutely everything.

We’re so proud of every single player for their effort, teamwork and determination. The future is bright! 👏

Proud moment for our U8s as they made their debut in their brand-new kit this weekend! ⚫️⚪️

Not only did they look incredibly smart, but the new kit must have brought them some luck too, with our teams going on to win both the Champions League 🏆 and the Conference League 🏆 at our very own football festival!

A huge well done to all of the players, coaches and parents. Your hard work, dedication and support are what make weekends like this so special.

We’re looking for youth referees to help officiate at our Llay Miners Welfare Summer Tournament today.

⚽ A great opportunity to gain valuable refereeing experience while supporting grassroots football.
