MAG Welsh Setwork.
Another fantastic competition for our Olympus boys at the MAG Welsh Setwork Competition! 🤸‍♀️✨

ASPIRE LEVEL 1 - 9 in year
⭐️ Harrison came 3rd on floor, 2nd on pommel, 4th on rings, 3rd on vault, 3rd on pbar, 4th on High bar and 4th overall. 👏

ASPIRE LEVEL 2 - 10 in year
⭐️ Floor - Osian 5th, will 4th, Axel 3rd and Jack 2nd
⭐️ Pommel - Axel 6th, Osian 4th and Jack 1st
⭐️ Rings - Jack 6th, Axel 4th Osian 3rd.
⭐️ Vault - Osian 6th, Jack 5th and Axel 2nd.
⭐️ Pbar - Jack 55th, Axel 4th, Osian 1st.

⭐️ Noah came 2nd on floor, pommel, rings, vault and High bar, 1st on Pbar and 2nd overall. 👏

The remainder of our boys competed in the MAG Welsh Setwork. We are awaiting on confirmation of a couple of scores before we share the full set of results. So keep watching this space, tbc......🤩🤩🤩

Day two of competitions!!

Starting with the NORTH AREA CLASSIC CHALLENGE

What a fantastic second day for our Olympus girls at the North Area Classic Challenge! 🤸‍♀️✨
We are incredibly proud of every gymnast, some brilliant performances and fantastic individual results 🏆

ZINC – 10-11 IN YEAR
Some fabulpus performances from Antonina and Alma, with an amazing 5th place on floor for Alma 👏

ZINC – 12-13 IN YEAR
⭐️ Beam – Ellie 3rd
⭐ Floor – Ava 4th and Ellie 3rd
🏆 Overall – Ava 3rd overall 💪
👏 Ava has also made the team to represent North Wales at the Welsh Zinc and Copper finals.

The afternoon rounds were run throughs for the following gymnasts below, in preperation for the Welsh in two weeks time 🤸‍♂️

Pre FIG Development
⭐️ Elara came 1st on Vault, 1st on bars, 4th on beam, 5th on floor.
🏆 Overall – 4th overall.

Bronze 12 -13 yrs
⭐️ Isla came 1st on Vault, 2nd on bars, 1st on beam and 3rd on floor.
🏆 Overall – Bronze 12-13 in yr Champion 💪

Bronze 14+ yrs
⭐️ Sophie C came 4th on bars and 3rd on floor.
🏆 Overall – 6th overall.

Silver 12-13 yr
⭐️ Ava came 1st on vault and 2nd on bars, beam and floor.
🏆 Overall – 2nd overall.

Gold 14+
⭐️ Sophie W came 1st on ALL apparatus
🏆 Overall – Gold 14+ Champion 💪

Another day with some amazing set of results. Well done to all of the girls and their coaches for all the hard work that has gone into today.

🏆 Overall – Millie 9 In year Zinc Champion 💪

👏 Millie has also made the team to represent North Wales at the Welsh Zinc and Copper finals.

COPPER - 10 / 11 year
⭐ Bars – Charlotte 3rd, Kaya 2nd and Laina 1st
⭐️ Beam - Lottie 4th and Laina 2nd
⭐ Floor – Kaya 4th, Lottie 2nd and Laina 1st
🏆 Overall – Charlotte 6th, Kaya 4th, Lottie 2nd and Laina Copper 10 / 11 yr Champion 💪

🏆 COPPER TEAM WINNERS! 🏆 including Laina, Kaya, Lottie, Charlotte and Emmi ❤️ Special shout out to Emmi who unfortunatley withdrew from the competition after a nasty little fight with the beam. Despite only competing on the one apparatus, her beam score was counted for in the team event 👏👏

👏 Laina, Lottie and Kaya have also made the team to represent North Wales at the Welsh Zinc and Copper finals, with Charlotte as the reserve.

An amazing set of results on day one!! Well done to all of the girls and their coaches for all the hard work that has gone into today.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 What a special afternoon at Olympus! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Yesterday we came together to celebrate Jacob Edwards and his fantastic achievement of representingTeam Wales at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games!

We were also joined by a very special guest…Flic, the Welsh Gymnastics mascot! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It was brilliant to see so many of our members and families come along to congratulate Jacob, hear a little about his Commonwealth Games experience, grab some photos and, of course, meet Flic!

For our younger gymnasts especially, days like this are a reminder of where hard work, determination and a love of the sport can take you. To have someone who has grown through the sport representing Wales on the Commonwealth stage is something we're incredibly proud to celebrate. ❤️

A huge Thank you to everyone who joined us, to Jacob and Flic for spending time with our gymnasts and to our fabulous parents who helped put on an amazing spread of nibbles for that extra special treat for our gymnast!

A special visitor is coming to Olympus Gymnastics Club! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We're excited to announce that Flic, the official Welsh Gymnastics mascot, will be joining us as we celebrate Jacob Edwards' fantastic achievement of representing Team Wales at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all of our members and their families to meet Flic and celebrate Jacob's incredible success, take photos, and show our support for one of Olympus' own.

We'd love to see as many of you there as possible as we come together to celebrate this amazing achievement and inspire the next generation of gymnasts. ❤️🤸‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿SO PROUD OF YOU, JACOB! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

What an incredible Commonwealth Games for Jacob Edwards, proudly representing Wales in Glasgow 2026. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Despite picking up an injury right at the very start of the competition, Jacob showed unbelievable determination and resilience. Rather than letting it define his day, he dug deep, pushed through the pain, and completed four strong, composed routines with the heart and courage of a true athlete.

Results are only one part of sport. The character and commitment Jacob displayed throughout the competition are what make us the proudest. He has shown every young gymnast at Olympus what it means to never give up, to trust your training, and to give everything for your team and your country.

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled to Glasgow and to those cheering from home. The support for Jacob and Team Wales was absolutely incredible and meant so much throughout the competition.

Jacob, you have represented Olympus Gymnastics Club, Wales, and yourself with immense pride, professionalism and determination. We couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved.

Congratulations on an unforgettable Commonwealth Games.
