A special visitor is coming to Olympus Gymnastics Club! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We're excited to announce that Flic, the official Welsh Gymnastics mascot, will be joining us as we celebrate Jacob Edwards' fantastic achievement of representing Team Wales at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all of our members and their families to meet Flic and celebrate Jacob's incredible success, take photos, and show our support for one of Olympus' own.

We'd love to see as many of you there as possible as we come together to celebrate this amazing achievement and inspire the next generation of gymnasts. ❤️🤸‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

What an incredible Commonwealth Games for Jacob Edwards, proudly representing Wales in Glasgow 2026. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Despite picking up an injury right at the very start of the competition, Jacob showed unbelievable determination and resilience. Rather than letting it define his day, he dug deep, pushed through the pain, and completed four strong, composed routines with the heart and courage of a true athlete.

Results are only one part of sport. The character and commitment Jacob displayed throughout the competition are what make us the proudest. He has shown every young gymnast at Olympus what it means to never give up, to trust your training, and to give everything for your team and your country.

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled to Glasgow and to those cheering from home. The support for Jacob and Team Wales was absolutely incredible and meant so much throughout the competition.

Jacob, you have represented Olympus Gymnastics Club, Wales, and yourself with immense pride, professionalism and determination. We couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved.
