Almost nobody arrives here after a shoulder injury. They arrive after a shoulder decline.

Past our mid-forties, the joint gets less tolerant of being ignored. Less overhead reaching, more sitting and the small stabilising muscles stop being asked to do anything. Stiffness turns up first. The twinge comes later.

The fix works: a few minutes of banded work most days and enough strength through the mid-back to hold the joint where it belongs.
