50 WordPress sites on one 16GB VPS. Three months in: 11GB RAM, 30% CPU. Nothing was tight.

So he asked the only question left — is NVMe real, or placebo?

It's real, but only in one place: wp-admin. The frontend is cached, so the disk sits idle. The admin panel isn't — every click is PHP, MySQL and hundreds of small reads.

Someone at ~60 sites moved to an NVMe line and called it "sluggish to normal". Same cores, same RAM, only the disk changed.

Caveat: a lot of "NVMe" plans cap IOPS low enough to make the label meaningless. Ask for the number.

Oracle is ending GloriaFood in 2027. Officially there are two dates floating around — March 31 and April 30 — which tells you how settled this migration is.

On October 1, two companies made "running an agent" a subscription line item. One of them priced it at $50 a month.

Most security checklists you can work through from your laptop. "Test as an untrusted user" is the one item you can't.

You built it, you're on its network, you hold its credentials. From inside, everything looks right — which is why it proves nothing.

Rent a machine with a different IP. Hit your admin routes with no cookie, push signup past its rate limit, read your own error pages from outside.
