Congratulations to Dublin Unviersity Boat Club and Dublin University Ladies Boat Club for hosting another fantastic Regatta this year.

Trinity Regatta is an annual event first held in 1866 and is the largest sporting event hosted by the university. Originally raced on the Liffey in Dublin’s Docklands, the regatta has been held in Islandbridge every year since 1898

Unlike the 6-lane lane races typical of other regattas, competition takes place along a sweeping 1800-metre stretch of the Liffey, between two crews in straight knock-out clashes.

Huge congratulations to the winners and to all crews who raced this year.

Congratulations to Kevin Jackson, Mark Walsh, Dave Walsh, Matt Lynch, Hugo Lynch, Jack O’Neill and Oscar Cawley.

The team was also supported by DUFC's own Killian Hickey (coach), Shane Murray (coach), and Warren Barry (physio).
