Special mention for Rita and Emma. Our 2 oldest members (almost 100yrs between them) and they are doing the today.
These 2 ladies frequently run rings around some of our younger members and despite them having been rebuilt with titanium body parts there is no sign of them slowing down.

Yesterday we held a great workshop in our Bray venue on basic saber care, maintenance and repair.

St. Patrick used the shamrock to symbolise unity in his religious teachings. 3 separate leaves but one shamrock.

What an incredible week we had at our Bray school. 6 athletes embarked on the Form One Instructor Course under the expert eye of Tecnico Daniele Maggi.
It was a fantastic experience for all participants and everyone leaves with a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Form One.
Congratulations to Mela and Emma on qualifying as Instructors.
Mela also ranked up to Iniziato and Emma becomes the first Irish woman to qualify as a Ludosport Instructor.
Special mention to Rutwik who received a yellow and also ranked up to Iniziato, a superb achievement for an athlete who only picked up his first light saber 4 months ago.
Finally we congratulate Simon, whose commitment during the week also saw him rank up to Iniziato.
We are so incredibly proud of all participants. The future of Ludosport Ireland is bright!
