Cabinteely Football Club is one of Ireland's largest football clubs. Based in South Dublin, we provide football for all, from small to tall. Our male & female teams compete at all levels in Dublin, and nationally across Ireland with our partner club . The majority of our current teams range in age from U-7 to U-18 and play in the Dublin & District Schoolboys League (DDSL). In addit

ion, the club fields a number of girls' teams in the Metropolitan Girls League (MGL) and a very successful senior ladies' team. Our Special Olympics 'Cougars' squad also play in monthly blitzes during the season. The current club was formed in 1967, as Auburn FC, and began league football with only one team. Little did those early enthusiasts know what they had initiated! In 1973, the club’s name was changed to Cabinteely Boys FC, to better represent the entire neighbourhood. The name was changed to Cabinteely FC during the early 'noughties', to reflect both the numbers of individual girl members and its excellent girls and ladies teams.

The countdown is on! 🎉

We are delighted to welcome our Cubs & Kittens back to Kilbogget Park on Saturday 5 September as we kick off another fantastic season of football, fun and making new friends at Cabinteely FC!

Our Cubs & Kittens Academy runs every Saturday morning from September through to May 9:30AM - 10:30AM, giving our youngest players the perfect introduction to football in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
