We kicked off our Divison 2A campaign with a trip to annacotty to take on there c team. With numerous players missing and both managers missing to other commitments, we had Barry Quinn and the help of Tyrone Fitzgerald who’s out due to suspension take charge but from the feedback we’re receiving he’s stress levels were trough the roof so that will be the end of that😀.

Nonetheless it was a huge 3 points to start the season off and the boys do themselves proud. We would also like to say well done to our new debutants David Quinlivan, Pj Molloy, Bubba Molloy, Damien Quinn, Glynn O’Dwyer and the return of Aaron Phillips.

Next up home is at home to Abbey Rovers on Tuesday with a 6.30pm kick off.

We had our annual awards night last night and what a great night it was, fair play to all winners well deserved awards at that.

We ourselves had 4 awards giving out on the night with the following winners

Goes without saying this award for the best player this season and it would not make sense if it wasn’t give to this person, Player of the season in the whole of 2B goes to show how good he was, it’s our shot stopper our penalty hero our number 1

This award lads is where the players themselves chose who they think is player of the season and for a 3rd year running he wins an award it’s our midfield dynamite

Most improved

This award is for a fella that has came on leaps and bounds, from last year to this year he is like a whole new signing, week in week out he puts in a performance never misses training never complains it’s only right this award goes to
