Established in 1882 Sutton LTC is one of Ireland's leading tennis & squash clubs (and one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world!). SLTC consists of
11 artificial grass tennis courts including 2 indoor (10 floodlit)
3 squash courts
a fully equipped gym
a snooker room
a well stocked sports shop
Our recently renovated bar, lounge and function room is equipped with two 42" TV's. New members are always welcome so have a look around our website or drop into the club!

GREAT START IN BELGIUM

Lots of wins on the first day at the Belgian Junior Open.

Danny Jones, Harry Yeomans, Eoin O'Brien, Liam Mahony, Christian Dromgoole, John Quigley and Saibh Darcy progressed to the next round.

Liam and Eoin have both reached the Semi Finals of the Boys U/13 having beaten their respective opponents in the Quarter finals this morning.

Quarter Finals for Sam Buckley

Sam Buckley is through to the Swiss Open quarter-finals.
Our PSA No.104, who is seeded No.3 in Uster, started his campaign with a 3-0 (11-4, 11-3, 11-9) win on Thursday over Jan Wipperfürth, the No.218 from Germany.

Sam will now play Tomotaka Endo [5], the No.136 from Japan, in the last eight on Friday.
The Japanese player put an end to Conor Moran's hopes of setting up an all-Irish clash, winning their round of 16 match 3-0 (11-13, 6-11, 6-11).

Moran had started his tournament with a Wednesday win. Our PSA men's No.167 defeated Robin Gadola, the No.405 from Switzerland.

A 2026 Junior Nationals Champion and two Junior World Championships picks will travel to Belgium this weekend. 12 Sutton Academy Juniors in total accompanied by Coach Eoin Ryan will take part in the three-day Belgian Junior Open from Friday.

Danny Jones, the BU17 Irish champion from Sutton, is a 13/16 seed for the three-day tournament in Liege.

Fellow Suttonians Christian Dromgoole and Zoe Yeomans, who played at the Worlds in Canada last July, are seeded 5/8 and No.1 in the BU19 and GU19 events.

BU19: Advik Ajay, Christian Dromgoole [5/8];

Sam & Conor are in Switzerland

Both are playing in the Lukas Gadola Memorial Swiss PSA Open in Uster. Conor Moran has just had a great win against Robin Gadola 3/2 (11/9, 17/15, 9/11, 8/11, 11/7).

Conor will now play TOMOTAKA ENDO #5 from Japan/Australia in Round 2 at 12pm on 29th October.

Sam Buckley will take on Jan Wipperfürth from Germany in his first match at 12.45pm on 29th.

Sutton Junior In France

Liam Mahony, Sutton Academy player, is in France taking part in the French Junior Open.

Liam beat his first opponent Maurice Degem from Switzerland 3/0 (11/3, 11/8,11/6). Next up Noel Goal from England for a place in the Top 8. This match will be played tonight and we will keep you updated.

Chicago PSA Open Update

Conor Moran is through to the quarter-finals at the CCSA Chicago Open.
Our PSA men's No.171 defeated Dillon Huang [8], the No.101, after the American retired near the end ot game two.
Moran won the first game 11-6 and was then 8-1 up in the second when the match finished.
He will now play Josue Enriquez, the No.141 from Guatemala, in Friday night's last eight.

Sam Buckley 17], our No.102, had his Chicago campaign ended in the round of 16.
Up against Hollis Robertson, the No.305 from the USA, he took an early 1-0 lead before going down 1-3 (11-8, 6-11, 4-11, 4-11)...
