Wow! This may be our new favourite timber stain. How amazing does this room look! Huge thanks to our Auckland customer for the special request to match the stain colour from surrounding furniture, and a quick YouTube tutorial to get the technique right. Every day's a school day. ๐
On Cue Waikawa 7 Foot Pool Table custom made using American White Oak timber stained black then a grey wash stain over the top finished in charcoal cloth and brass components. ๐

Using oven roasted Ash timber on this Waikawa table has come up looking really nice. ๐
The process of baking the ash timber at high temps changes its appearance to this rich caramel like colour and as a bonus benefit, also enhances its durability and stability.
