At just 6 years old, Thomas Chen was the youngest player at the South Island Teams Championships🙌

Representing Canterbury in the U13 Boys Team Event, Thomas showed plenty of courage, determination and a love for the game as he took on players much older than himself.

Well done, Thomas! We can't wait to see what the future holds for this young table tennis star ⭐🏓

Table Tennis Canterbury was proud to host another fantastic South Island event, bringing together players from across the region for a weekend of high-quality competition, great sportsmanship and team spirit.

A special congratulations to our Canterbury teams, who delivered outstanding performances across multiple grades and claimed several South Island titles. 🏆

Thank you to TTNZ, officials, volunteers, supporters and visiting associations for helping make the championships such a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Christchurch again soon!
