Yoga is more than movement.
More than shapes.
More than touching your toes.
Beyond the physical practice of asana, yoga also invites us into the way we relate to ourselves, others and the world around us.
In the yogic tradition, the Yamas and Niyamas are gentle guiding principles for living; practices like compassion, honesty, contentment, self-reflection and care.
Sometimes yoga looks like deep breath and stillness.
Sometimes it looks like presence.
And sometimes… it looks like shared laughter and genuine connection. 💛
At Nu Yoga, community is part of the practice too.
