It's that time of the year for some silverware to be won! In the next 2 and a bit months, the Dunedin Ice Stadium will host championships that welcome athletes from around the country! As well as the Thunder advancing to the playoffs for a chance at the Birgel Cup! Here's every event we're hosting up until the start of October:

• Speed skating NZ Short Track Open Champs (4/9 - 6/9)
• South Island Secondary Schools Curling Champs (11/9 - 13/9)
• Dunedin Ice Skating Club Corinne Gilkison Cup (19/9-20/19)
• Dunedin Ice Hockey DIHL Finals (19/9)
• Ice Hockey New Zealand U14. U16 & U18 National Finals (29/9-7/10)
