SUPPORT MORGAN HENDERSON: ROAD TO THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES
From NZ Fight and Fitness Academy, we are incredibly proud to stand behind one of our own.
Morgan Henderson is an Olympic-style boxer on the verge of Commonwealth Games qualification, and her journey reflects years of dedication at the highest level of amateur boxing.
Achievements:
• Record: 18 Wins – 2 Losses
• Australian Golden Gloves Champion (2025)
• Australian Queen of the Ring Champion (2026)
• 2x New Zealand Boxing Champion (2024 & 2025)
• Represented NZ at the World Championships in Liverpool (2025)
• Multiple South Island Golden Gloves Champion
On 9 April 2026, Morgan competed in Sydney, Australia at the NSW King & Queen of the Ring, delivering a dominant unanimous victory. This result further strengthened her international standing and her pathway toward Commonwealth Games selection.
Right now, Morgan is in Brazil competing at the World Boxing Championships — one of the most elite tournaments in amateur boxing and the highest level outside the Olympics. Once again, she is proudly representing NZ, Otago, and our gym on the world stage against the best fighters in the world.
These moments are built on years of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless work.
At this level, athletes are often self-funded. The costs of international travel, accommodation, training, and competition are significant, and the financial pressure is very real.
Morgan has done everything required to reach this point. Now she needs support to keep pushing forward and turn this opportunity into a Commonwealth Games campaign.
We are asking our community, supporters, and anyone who believes in backing dedicated athletes to get behind her.
Support and follow Morgan’s journey here: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/morgan-hendersons-road-to-the-commonwealth-games
Leave a donation and share words of encouragement to help keep her momentum going.
Every contribution helps. Every share makes a difference.
