Shoutout to my long time Oamaru friend and avid Island Park GC follower - Producer Bondy from More Fm breakfast for winning the Best Breakfast show award at the radio awards last night.
We might get him out for a hit one day....

Meet Gordon Greer - chief rough cutter, knapsack sprayer, hedge trimmer, and tree waterer and all round good guy!
Many of you know Gordy pretty well but for those who don't, he is one of our legends within the club for the countless hours he puts in weekly particularly saving myself up to 9 hours of grass cutting a week.
He came on board after retiring from Invermay Ag Research over 10 years ago to focus on keeping on top of our rough.
His aquistion has been a key part of lifting our turf quality across the whole course over time.
Gordy you are legend mate and we all appreciate your great work.
