HOUSE OF PAIN • 2 from 2 tonight as Ashton Ryder Bartlett and Rion notch up wins TMT FIGHT NIGHT, with Ashton securing a 2nd round TKO! These guys continue to impress each time and are setting themselves up on a great path to follow the House of Pain greats. Fight team is pumping with Shokei and Thomas up next weekend!

WORK HARD, PLAY HARD • REGAN MCFALL wins his MMA debut via first round Americana submission. This man has been putting in such hard mahi all camp, running both his business and Unified MMA, and still making time to drive across from Te Awamutu and train in our early morning MMA classes and giving up every Friday evening with the family for this camp. It’s been a real pleasure to watch that pay off tonight, competing against such a tough opponent from Rogue Training Centre. Congratulations Regan Mcfall 🙌🙌

Hugely emotional week with Troy’s original Professor Damian Smith passing away, but what a way to also honour his legacy and impact on all of us. Troy shares many of the same qualities as Damo - kind, friendly, humble and technical with his BJJ. It’s been a pleasure to have you here on the team. Congratulations!

BJJ BLUEBELT • Big congratulations to Kotaro Komiya on his graduation to BJJ bluebelt last week. Kotaro has been a dedicated member of our Adults Gi team and has been putting together a great game encompassing both strong takedowns and guard play. As one of the lightest adults members, Kotaro has shown great patience and humility when training alongside our teens team. Thanks for being a great team member!
