Battle in the Bay was an incredible competition from start to finish! Our whole club absolutely loved every minute of it!!

Every team looked amazing out on the mat, and all of the hard work they've put in over the past few months truly shone through 🩵💜

A great day from start to finish, a well run comp and so much fun had along the way! Great moments shared and lasting memories made 💜🩵

Placings are always exciting, but what makes us the proudest is watching our athletes perform with confidence and beaming with pride the whole time! Every routine was something to be proud of and I'm beyond grateful to have the crew that I have at Halo 💜🩵

A huge thank you to the organisers, judges, volunteers, our incredible coaches, and of course our amazing Halo families who support us every step of the way. We couldn't do this without you all 🫶🏼🫶🏼

💜 Cheerfest, what a weekend! 💜
We took three teams and one specialty out to our first comp of the season, and what an incredible way to kick things off!

All of our teams performed so amazingly well, and I honestly couldn't be prouder. Every athlete gave it their all and looked so incredible out on that mat.

Watching you all perform made me extremely proud to have you representing Halo. I know Ashia would have loved every moment of this weekend 🫶🏼 This was something she always dreamed of, and I know she would be so proud of everything Halo has become and everything we have achieved together so far. 💜💜

To come away with three podium placings at our first outing is an amazing achievement! 🥇🥉🥉 While medals are exciting, they're only part of the journey. What really stood out was seeing the weeks and weeks of hard work, dedication, and determination you've all put in at the gym come to life on the comp floor. You all performed with such confidence and pride, showcasing just how much you've grown as athletes and as teams.

Thank you to all of our amazing Halo families for your endless support, encouragement, and for always being our biggest cheer squad. Thank you for trusting us with your athletes and believing in our vision. We truly couldn't do this without you, and I appreciate every single one of you more than you'll ever know! 💜🩵

This weekend was an incredible start to the season, and it's only the beginning. I know there are even bigger things ahead for our Halo athletes, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

🐾 Get behind our community charity drive this month and help us support Pound Pooches Hawkes Bay! 🐾

We're collecting donations of pet food, bedding, toys, collars, leads, blankets, and anything else you can spare. Every donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will help animals in need.

Our donation box is located in the waiting area just inside the front door of Halo Cheer Athletics, at 25 Carlyle Street. Right next to the big red bus and food trucks.

Members of the public, we'd love your support too! You're welcome to drop off donations between 3:30pm and 8:00pm, Monday to Thursday. Just open our front door and you'll see our collection box in the waiting area.

Every blanket, bag of food, toy, or collar helps give rescued dogs the care, comfort, and second chance they deserve.

Thank you for helping us make a difference. Together, we can show these deserving pups just how much our community cares! Every donation counts! 🐶❤️
