What’s another 1/2” when you’ve already had 4?! 🫣 at least there was a beautiful rainbow after it passed!
It was quite the downpour we had this afternoon… and if you didn’t get anything at home, well, consider yourself lucky! The cell was small, but solid red by the time it was over us.
Can you believe a 1/2” can cause this much flooding down 11?!

UPDATE 8/14
⚠️We are closing for the day⚠️
There is a lot of standing water on the course, on the greens, and rivers still flowing down holes 1 & 11.
We are so sorry to those who found out last minute and were already here or on your way. Mother Nature is fickle and loves to roll through at the worst times!

It’s Adel’s annual Sweet Corn Festival today, so please give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes *at least* to get through town!
Since the State Fair isn’t started, there were talks of expecting close to 10,000 people filtering through town today!!

Fall is almost here, and that means it's time for River Valley's Open Fall League!
This league is open to everyone, so grab your partner and get ready for six weeks of great golf and friendly competition. Weekly scores accrue throughout the season, with flights determined at the end, so every week matters!
Here's the fun part:
- Each week brings a different format! Compete in a scramble, best score, or alternate shot.

- Tuesdays, 5:30 PM Shotgun Start
