I'm not sure how to say this but I dont know kelby that well but from the times I talked to him and bought a shirt a few times I must say he is quite a humble young man. Hes a great sport and great kid when it comes to racing. I'm very proud of kelby. I may be the first to say this but I am older than kelby (28 to be exact) and usually the younger ones look up to us adults and they still do but I look up to my friends that race who are much younger than me like kelby. I even look up to kelby because i think I learn how humble he is and that is going to improve my life and who I am. The next thing I wanna say is i know lastnight like any other night that went wrong or didnt go quite well wasnt how kelby wanted the night and season to end but as i was standing in my buddy ryan Leavitts pit watching him and his team fix their car and watching you guys fix your car I was amazed because it all showed how much we crave this sport and when people come together. Idk what all the girls age are that was down there lastnight but I am impressed with their efforts to help get the car fixed. Props to them. It was simply amazing. Not many girls get involved like that. Keep it all up guys and girls. Your an A team. Good luck next season. I want to see that car in victory lane more next year. Go get em kelby. 🏁🏁🏁
Kelby it was amazing watching you last night! The intensity is crazy!! Not sure how you do it every weekend but it sure was fun to watch! Congrats on a great season!
I just want to THANK YOU so much from the bottom of my heart for making my 7 year old sons night tonight at Lake Ozark Speedway, he was so excited to see another KELBY and couldnt believe the last names almost matched too... the signed shirt meant to SO MUCH to my son he has chosen to frame it and hang it in his room! He enjoyed cheering you on from the stands as well and asked if we could come watch you race somewhere again sometime! I again THANK YOU SO MUCH and good luck on your racing adventure!

As you may already know, Knoxville Raceway has cancelled the remainder of their season. We finished 6th in the championship, and have learned a lot this season so far. I would like to thank my crew, sponsors, family, and friends for making this season possible. We are planning on continuing the season by traveling to other tracks before the year ends.

Started 5th in the C Main last night at the 360 Nationals. Finished 4th in that and transferred into the B. In the B we ended up 15th, picking up 9 spots. Had a fast car last night, just wish we could have put it to use in the A main. Definitely a big learning weekend! Overall, it was a successful Nationals, I look forward to fighting to make it into the show next year!

Tonight we make our first appearance at Southern Iowa Speedway - Osky! Looking forward to carrying our momentum over from last night, and looking forward to battling for $4,000 tonight!

Thank you so much to my crew for working their tails off all last week and this weekend to give me a fast car. We’ve come a long way in the past few weeks.

And thank you to all our sponsors for all their continued support!

Last night we ran our prelim night for the 360 nationals at Knoxville Raceway. Qualifying didn’t go the way I wanted it to and we ended up qualifying 23rd, and finished 3rd in the heat. Started 14th in the A main. We missed the setup a little bit last night which caused us to lose a few positions. With two laps left to go I jumped the cushion and hit the wall which led to a flat right front and rear tire. We were not able to finish last nights race.

Tonight is the main night of the 360 nationals and I will be starting 5th in the C main. Hoping for a better car tonight and to make it to the A main by the end of the night.
Thank you to everyone for their continued support and a special thank you to my sponsors.

Tonight is qualifying night for us at the 360 nationals at Knoxville Raceway. Hoping to keep the momentum rolling from last weekend. A good night tonight will set us up well for tomorrow’s race.

Thank you everyone for your support, and thank you to all our great contributors for making this weekend possible for us!

Had a great night at Knoxville Raceway last night and finished fourth, our first top 5 in the 360. Really proud of the team so far this year, we have improved each night. I am definitely feeling confident going into next weekend.

I would like to thank my Dad, Grandpa, and Dave for working their butts off all week while I was in Wisconsin to get this car tuned up and ready to race. And thank you to all my family and friends for making it down and for all their help on the car.

And Special thanks to Miguel and his family from Adocar Auto Body & Paint for joining us in the pits tonight. Hope they had a blast! Adocar specializes in auto maintenance, repair, tune-up, and detailing. If you are ever in the Des Moines area and need work done on your car make sure to stop by Adocar! Their work is impeccable!

As always, I would also like to thank all of my sponsors for making this weekend happen. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to run up front like we did last night.

Had another consistent weekend at Knoxville Raceway, but we couldn’t do it without the support of our great sponsors! Please see the end of this post for the names of the companies that keep us on track each week!

Qualifying- 11th in Group 2
Heat- 1st to 5th
B Main- 2nd to 1st
A Main- 21st to 12th Hard Charger

Had a rough start to our night on Saturday and had some bad luck that put us in the B.
Luckily, we used the B to find some speed in the car that transferred over to the A.

In the A Main I knew that I had a car worthy of a top 10, it would just take a lot of work. Unfortunately only about 8 laps in I was involved in an incident that would cost us our right rear shock. Without the support of our right rear weight, the car was not able to handle well on the bottom of the track. I was still able to fight to bring the car home in 12th, picking up our first Hard Charger Award.

I’m really happy with this weekend because the team came together after a tough heat and worked hard to repair and prep for the B.

And Special Thanks to

Had another fast night at Knoxville Raceway!

Started out the night with the quickest time in hot laps out of 46 cars. We made some changes to the car for qualifying that just didn’t keep the speed we wanted. Ended up in 23rd for Qualifying.

In the heat race we started 1st and led the whole race to win my first 360 heat race win ever (finally)!

Because of our rough start in qualifying, we lined up 17th for the feature. But after dialing the car in in the heat race, we had another rocket for the feature. I was able to bring the car home in 11th tonight! Surely had some speed and if we would have timed in better, I think we would have had a great chance at contending a top 5. Anyways, onto next week!

Special thanks to all my sponsors for the support and for making this car such a rocket tonight!

[07/18/20]   We will be back at the track tomorrow night for VanWall Equipment and Marion County fair night at Knoxville Raceway! Getting geared up for another good night!

Got ourselves another top 10 this weekend at Knoxville!

To start the night off we timed in 3rd, our best qualifying yet in a 360! In the heat, I started in 6th and finished in 4th, which set us up for a 4th place starting position in the feature.

The feature proved to be very challenging for us as the track became very dry and slick early on. We missed the setup a little bit by not predicting this change, and at some point in the race we lost our right front shock. The car was quite the handful, but we still managed to bring it home in a solid 10th place for the weekend.

I would like to thank my crew for giving me such an amazing car this weekend, and would like to thank all our great partners for making this race team possible!

Ran well in qualifying, and was in the heat until I spun on the last lap. Frustrating end to the start of the night, had a good chance at starting towards the front in the feature. Ended up starting 12th. Car was good in the feature and we brought her home in 10th.

Overall it was a good, consistent weekend for the team. Once we get the new car dialed in, and I get my driving dialed in, I think we will be pressuring top 5 positions every night.

Thank you so much to my fans, friends, family, and sponsors that have supported me and watched me this weekend. Hope everyone had a great 4th!

Last night we had a great night considering the competition and the fact that this is a brand new car for us. The hard work over the past two weeks has payed off and had us finish 11th from 16th.

We’ve been hard at work prepping for tonight’s show. This J&J Auto Racing car is getting more dialed in each time it hits the track, so we are hoping for a great result tonight!

Special Thanks to my sponsors for making this weekend possible!

The backup car is ready for night #1 of the double header weekend at Knoxville Raceway tonight. We have had some good speed the past few nights, just have had some trouble.
Special Thanks to our sponsors for keeping us out on the track!

Had another spell of misfortune last night at Knoxville.
We ran really well in qualifying and the heat to start the night. That set us up with a good starting position in the feature.
Early on I made some mistakes that put me back to 7th, but we found some speed later on in the race.
On the last lap I was battling hard for 5th and made a mistake by committing to the bottom. This led to me spinning and ultimately collecting Matt Moro. It was completely my fault and I take full responsibility for the incident.
I really hate it for my team, Matt and his team, my family and friends, and my sponsors.
Thank you for everyone’s help in the pits and constant support the past nights. It takes a team to compete at Knoxville, and I have a great one behind me. I see great potential in this team as we progress throughout the rest of this season, and as I improve as a driver I foresee a lot of success.
In two weeks we’ll be back at Knoxville to redeem ourselves.

The SanitizeSolutions, KRM Development, LLC, HomeServices Lending, LLC machine is ready for Night #2 at Knoxville Raceway! Hoping to improve on our last result. Weather is looking good! Tune in on DIRTVision tonight!

Sorry for the late update but we have been working on the car since our first race back at Knoxville this Saturday.
Hot laps and qualifying were difficult with our starting setup, qualified 12th and ended 4th I think he heat. Then went on to start 15th in the A main.
In the feature I made some mistakes which led to spinning out. Started from the back on the restart and started to make progress until a car spun out in front of us and I had no where to go expect into the side of him.
Just to clarify I stopped by the #83 after the wreck to make sure he was alright, I hit him pretty hard. Rob is a great driver, just a technical track on Saturday.
We suffered some rear end damage and have not found all of the issues yet, but will be ready to get back on the track at Knoxville here in two weeks.
Overall I think we have some great potential for this season!
As always want to thank my sponsors who give me the opportunity to do this.

[05/26/20]   Had a rough start to the season last night.
We had some troubles with the rear end to start the night in hot laps.

In the heat race I started 2nd and had a very healthy lead at the beginning of the race. But about halfway, we began to lose power and eventually stalled out on the track.

After some work today we have found that the issue was within the fuel system, and we should have the car ready to run again this weekend!

I think we have some great potential going into this season, and the speed we had last night really shows this. Thank you to all our sponsors for helping get this car out on the track this season!

We are ready to race here at 34 Raceway tonight. Hoping for good results tonight on the track. Hot laps start at 6:15pm tune in on Speed Shift TV to watch live!

Special thanks to all our sponsors for there continued support through these difficult times.
