Having so much Fun at our holiday show!

Our level 9’s are having a blast at the Westerns! Can’t wait for the rest of the team to arrive! Good luck this weekend ladies.

Huge congratulations to Makenna Smith for killing it at her last JO Regional competition! She is the Regional champion and received the highest AA score of the whole weekend with a 38.925 🥳

Amazing job at level 9&10 Regionals last weekend ladies 💪🏼 Good luck to all our National/Western qualifiers!

Thursday, the Governor announced an end to the indoor mask mandate in New Mexico effective immediately. We will no longer require anyone to wear their masks to gymnastics classes. The community at Gold Cup revolves around honor and respect so if you choose to wear your mask or have your child wear their mask you have that option. At Gold Cup, we respect everyone’s safety and the individual decisions, so please be considerate to others who choose to continue wearing masks and those that choose not wear them.

Congratulations to Makenna for signing with University of Utah! Utah Utes women's gymnastics team, also known as the Red Rocks, represents the University of Utah and competes at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association as members of the Pac-12 Conference.

Tag someone you think would make a great coach! Preschool and recreation coaches will be taught on the job and need no prior experience. Just a great attitude! Team coaches need prior coaching experience but not necessarily gymnastics coaching experience.

Out awesome junior olympics crowd from the second session yesterday!

We had such a successful junior olympics yesterday! Thank you to all of those who came together to support your gymnasts! Can’t wait to see you at the holiday show in a few months!

Wow! Congratulations Makenna for scoring a 10 on vault at regionals! Good luck at nationals! We love our Gold Cup gymnasts and love seeing all their hard work pay off!

Day 6 Recovery♡♡
Danny is still kicking butt and breaking records. Doctors and Nurses are absolutely amazed with his progress! He is out of Cardiac ICU and in his own room on the Cardiac floor. The swan is out of his neck and he only has one chest tube left to came out. The arterial line is out of his arm and the foley catheter is out too. 🙂 He is only on one drip medication now. All other meds are oral. They are hoping to take out the last chest tube and the pacer tonight. He is excited to be able to walk alone now!! He has to do everything using his abs. He can not use his upper body or arms for 6-8 weeks. Thank you so much to University of Utah Cardiac Unit All the support staff, lab technicians, nurses, doctors and surgeons and all others at the hospital!! We are forever grateful for all you do!! ♡♡♡♡ Thank you so much for organ donation and the families and donors. Without you all 2nd chances are not possible. Thank you so much to everyone who has been there for us. We are so blessed with all the prayers, thoughts and generosity. We Love You All!!

Two days post recovery and Danny is doing amazing!! Surgeon is impressed with his progress and said he is ahead if schedule. ♡♡ His family got to visit him through his Window the last two days and wave and blow him kisses. They were all overwhelmed with happiness. It is still so hard to believe everything that has happened this week. We are truly blessed and so thankful for everyone who has been here for us. ♡♡ Sending our love and hugs out to you all
