Scoliosis changes the way the spine moves, but it doesn’t have to limit how you move.
Every Scoliosis curve is unique, which means movement strategies should be individualized rather than approached with a one-size-fits-all program.
At Aledo Pilates, we believe that every body is different, and every client deserves to feel supported, understood, and confident in their movement. Scoliosis presents unique challenges, which is why education, awareness, and thoughtful instruction are so important.
Our Studio Director, Nicole White, holds The Pilates Adaptations for Scoliosis Based on the Schroth Method certification, bringing specialized knowledge of Pilates for scoliosis and scoliosis-specific programing to the studio. Nicole serves as our resource to the Aledo Pilates Team, providing guidance in movement modifications and programing. This collaborative approach allows clients with scoliosis to work confidently with any of our instructors, knowing their individual needs are understood and supported.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we focus on adapting exercises, offering modifications, and making thoughtful adjustments to help each maintain fitness while supporting spinal function.
If you’re navigating scoliosis and looking for a thoughtful, individualized approach to fitness in the Aledo, TX area, we’d love to help you explore what’s possible.
✨Because understanding scoliosis matters. Individualized care matters. And how we guide each client matters.
