Sometimes the road less traveled is exactly the one worth taking!! On Saturday, Sep 19th, Meghan biked across the state of Michigan from East to West which is a whopping 205+ miles. She flipped the traditional route and officially becoming the new record holder recognized by the World Ultra‑Cycling Association. Huge shoutout to her rock‑solid crew for tracking every mile and serving as the official timers. This is so epic!!

So many MTri athletes repping the 〽️ at the Michigan 70.3 in Frankfort this past weekend‼️

Major love to our first‑timers who all crushed their Ironman debut: Jaana Glasmacher, Tilly Williams, Olivia Miller, Kennedy Storms, Isabelle Holden, Sahil Sawant, Natalie Roberts, Ben Loney, Amanda Bekkala, and Nick Lusardi

And big props to Spencer Gifford and Amar Dhingra for snagging PRs on the course!!

We’d also like to give a shoutout to any umich alums who raced!! Make sure to tag us if you were there😃

The course was fast, the energy was unreal, and Jonathon Hanton powered through to claim the title of 2026 Shootout Champion 👑🏃💨🏆
