Tandem Sling (Levels 2+) with Zoe Sarvis and s.ugarplumm
June 19th at 6:30pm, use your regular class credits to sign up!
This level 2+ class has double the sling, double the humans, and double the fun! This class will use two aerial slings rigged from a single point, creating a unique hybrid apparatus that blends elements of aerial hammock, and partner-style flow work. Students will learn to manipulate both slings simultaneously to discover mirrored shapes, unique pathways, sneaky transitions, and gentle spins to enhance the movement and make it dreamy. Come get a little tangled, spin a little, and have all the giggles!

Use your class credits to sign up!
Dip your toes in the waters of flexibility, balance, and partner acrobatics! Class material includes light conditioning, balancing on one’s own hands or feet, balancing on a friend’s hands or feet, and learning to create shapes with others. No experience required, and you don’t have to bring your own partner! This class is a fabulous compliment for performers who like to work in pairs in the air, on the ground, and on pole, as we learn to trust and move together! It’s also a fantastic stand-alone class as we explore new pathways for moving on the ground! Photo by Nadia Images, featuring Charles Hagy
So stoked to host for an All Levels 90 minute Poi class on Saturday June 20th from 4:30-6pm in suite 108. Students will need to bring their own poi, which can be homemade - message us for more insight on making your own poi. Read on for more class info... ✨
The flow arts have brought movement, performance and meditation to stages and festivals all across the world! We’ve all seen the pictures of burning staffs and glowing toys; from Burning man to your neighborhood drum circle, people are finding their flow in object manipulation. The secret though? The dazzle of the fire and the glow is the aesthetic - the art lies in the movement. This all levels Poi class will help you perfect the basics and build a foundation upon which you can dance with your new partner- Poi! Well-suited for beginners who’ve never touched poi, all the way to advanced veterans looking to level up. With 22 years of poi experience, George is passionate about both teaching and learning - he'll meet you where you’re at and help you get to the next level with a fresh, defined perspective. All are welcome to this opportunity to push past your own limits! Sign up via your student account using regular class credits.

Intro to Clowning with
June 5th, 12th, and 19th from 3-4pm in 107U
Use your class credits to sign up!
Clowning is not just about putting on silly clothes and being goofy! We will explore movement, expression, character, and more as we lean into the power and joy of play. Contemporary clowning is focused on getting out of your head and into your body, allowing ourselves to play, and shake off the dust and cobwebs. Get ready to let go of all that seriousness that’s formed a hard shell around you, and get silly! This class is also fantastic for folks looking to perform in any discipline! Clowning helps us learn to connect to our audience, breathe, give into impulse, and create characters! Expect the unexpected, and expect to be surprised! Photo by Chasey Smith
